I wasted my money on a company ... ghost that doesn't provide warranty because I used it !!! When I chose it, I carefully read the previous reviews and unfortunately I fell for it!!! In the 2nd month, it suddenly broke down and made a noise without giving water !!! Unfortunately, I sent it to Athens and after 3 weeks !!! they decided that they don't cover it because they found it as they said ... used !!! However, it was completely helpful and only washed car mats, it would work for half an hour a day at most !!! Wasted money, terrible company, never again !!!
In 13 months it broke and there are no spare parts from the company, only the complete pump which costs 75 to 80 euros!
The choice of a pressure washer is itself a subject of great discussion.
The perfect pressure washer (durable and efficient) at an affordable cost for the amateur has simply not been manufactured yet, and it is not expected.
Companies cut corners everywhere in order to maximize profits, even to the point of supplying their machines with subpar components, when a component with decent specifications would only cost them a few extra minutes.
The most important parameter in a pressure washer is its lifespan.
95% of machines targeting the average consumer (low budget) have a very short lifespan, mainly due to the construction material of the pump, which is usually plastic in cheap models, the durability of the motors that, due to the nature of the work the machine is called to do, are subject to continuous start-stop cycles, and the durability of their plastic parts, mainly their hoses.
So, trying to avoid these three main parameters, but also to add overall reliability (brand name, support, available nearby service, etc.), requires a lot of research and reading.
Ultimately, achieving what you want at a price you can afford, always in relation to your actual usage needs, is clearly a matter of luck.
Paying for a low-cost pressure washer may leave you satisfied for 2 years, but it may also leave you without a pressure washer in just two months.
If you only want it for washing your car and you're thinking of spending up to 60 euros... good luck!!
If you're including carpets, rooftops, garden tiles, and other tasks in the equation, then it's worth looking into it further.
The choice of the Bulle was made after an effort to find the most affordable solution to my need for a pressure washer mainly for household tasks (carpets that require a fortune every year - at best every two years - for their cleaning, cleaning rooftops, terraces, cars), and with the intention of avoiding brand name pressure washers, which are expensive without deserving it and whose companies deceive the customer...
I started with a maximum limit of 120 euros, searching and reading reviews, I went up to 180 but I admit with reservations... and finally, discussing the details, I reached 219 euros!!!
So, the Bulle is a choice for amateur use of a pressure washer with higher quality than the low-budget ones on the market, with the main goal being its lifespan.
The cost of 219 euros (May 2020) offers you:
an aluminum pump (desired from the beginning for durability)
an induction motor (continuous operation, not subject to the 20 on-off restriction per hour - a secret that quickly destroys cheap motors)
a safety system (controls the pressure and acts to protect the machine)
a wind (permanent connection of the high-quality pressure hose - 8 meters - to the pump, which eliminates wear from connecting and disconnecting)
2 nozzles (spray and rotary flow), one of which is metallic!!!
Good quality plastics (that you won't be afraid of as soon as you see them)
2 switches... an on-off switch and a pressure adjustment switch (which at least acoustically did not show any differences in pressure adjustment)
A large detergent container.
The first surprise came at the pickup, from its weight. 21 kilograms!!
Despite this weight, its wheels allow it to be easily moved.
The metallic nozzle was a pleasant surprise. Also, the mechanism for selecting the spray on the nozzle is metallic. The connection to the gun is threaded with a brass fitting!!
The second nozzle that sprays rotatively is indeed made of hard plastic, screws on in the same way as a metal connector, and I was surprised by its spraying effectiveness. I directed it towards a concrete slab, and immediately the slab started whitening from the spray at a distance of 20 feet. Very good spraying power!!
Comfortable handle on the gun that locks. I haven't worked with it for hours to say whether it tires or not.
The practical pressure is at 130 bar. Very satisfactory for my needs. In an old smaller pressure washer, the water jet would bother you when it hit you, but that's about it. I don't dare to try it on this one.
The noise is normal for a pressure washer, at 73db for spraying and 86db for the motor. It's not bothersome, but it doesn't allow for work during quiet hours. However, it is quieter than many cheaper pressure washers. Compared to a small budget one I had before (which had a pump head!!! and a motor!!!!), I didn't notice a difference. Its induction motor is clearly quieter than the traditional ones.
The machine leaves a sense of sturdiness and seems to be a machine for serious amateur use. It has specifications to last a long time with you. Time will tell.
The machine has been manufactured... in China!! Where else!! But according to the manual, it has very good specifications (German?), hence its price. The manual itself is in Greek, well-written, and the dealership is UNIMAG in Koropi and Rentis, with a service center and spare parts, which seem to be quite affordable. For example, a rotary brush costs 14 euros!!
The power cord is 5 meters long and can be hung on a hook on the machine's body, as well as a handle case and two rear positions for the second nozzle and something additional. The water supply hose connection is plastic but located at the back between the wheels, so it is protected.
It has a one-year warranty.
If the price doesn't bother you and your criteria require something that works and has specifications to stay in use without having to think every time you turn it on if it will be the last time, then take a look at it.
Everything in life is a risk. The extra 80 euros for something that seems worth it... maybe it's not a bad idea!
Update 10/2022
I used it, among other things, to clean dried... apricots... that fell from the tree onto entrance tiles. They had remained and been stepped on for a period longer than 1.5 months, resulting in them sticking to a degree that they couldn't be removed even with a spatula.
The machine, with the jet of its nozzle, gradually loosened the residues and perfectly cleaned the tiles. The job required 40 minutes of operation with brief pauses, meaning the machine essentially worked continuously for as long as it took to clean the entrance. There were no issues with its operation, and it didn't even heat up to a point that would worry me. My hand didn't get tired on the trigger to the point where I wanted to stop.
I bought it today and tried it, the truth is that I expected it to be more powerful... But it does its job.
I am very satisfied with the machine, the foam container works well, it has very good build quality, it is almost silent, and for me, this was very important because I live in an apartment building.... A friend of mine has a Lavor and when he washes it, the whole neighborhood can hear it, not to mention that it has broken down twice, they fixed it for him, and now the motor burned out and it is not very useful to him...
I wash my cars and the machine once a week, and whatever else comes up...
