Well, after searching on Skroutz for various facial cleansers for oily/mixed skin, I chose this particular cleanser from Cerave. Seeing all these positive reviews, I thought I would give it a try; what could go wrong when so many people have tried it?
In the past, I suffered from severe acne on my face. Now my face has calmed down, but occasionally due to gynecological issues, I might get some pus-filled pimples on my cheeks. But that's it.
After severe acne, some red marks inevitably remain on the face.
I wanted a cleanser that would remove excess oil and leave my face matte.
I used it for 3 days, twice a day. Gradually, I started to get tiny pimples on my cheeks (they were under the skin, not protruding or red. But if you touched the area where the cheeks are, you could feel the pimples).
Additionally, after a while, I felt my face strange. Like it had oiliness, as if I hadn't washed it.
Regarding the eyes, as I read some reviews. In this aspect, it didn't cause me any stinging issues, etc., as I applied it everywhere to remove my mascara. But that's it.
I stopped using it 2 days ago, and now, just like I do when I shower with body wash or shampoo, I lather my face too. I must say the pimples have gone away.
I don't feel the oiliness on my face that I felt with Cerave, and consider that the shampoo isn't even meant for the face.
Unfortunately, I can't keep spending on products that ultimately don't suit my skin.
Every skin type is different.
I don't discourage anyone from buying it.
It just didn't work for me, probably
