    I don't have experience with other intercoms. I believe that you pay for it once, and you have it forever. So, as a "budget" expensive solution, the double one I got for me and my wife is amazing. Very good, clear sound at full volume, connectivity with both the mobile and between them is flawless. I haven't tried to connect it with units from other companies yet. If I do, I will get back to you. Also, a big plus is its battery, which, with usage of 1.5-2 hours a day, easily lasts 2-3 weeks, maybe even more.
