Very nice feeling in the hand - it doesn't bother at all. Definitely no fabric piece is worth 55€, but if it's Apple, you will pay. I haven't wet it to see how quickly it dries, and it's also not black or gray. It's dark and has some colored "notes" so it matches with many clothes. I will write about its durability in a few months.
