I have tried many, even more expensive ones. This was the best. No one cares about wired ones anymore, so finding something good is difficult, as strange as it may seem!
In less than 1 year, the device broke (the screen displayed "damaged" digits and was unresponsive).
Combined with the fact that the device does not include any memory or storage capability if it is unplugged (settings, time, call log, etc. are lost as it does not have a battery), it makes it completely unacceptable for long-term use and quite vulnerable. It is a simple device, but it is sad that it cannot even last a year.
Considering that with a few more money you can find alternative options, even branded wireless ones, it might be worth considering another solution. Devices with battery capability may be more durable and a better choice.
Great phone. Quality materials, user-friendly, no need for batteries and has caller ID with a strong ringtone and adjustable sound in the earpiece from low to high.
On the screen, it didn't display the phone number of the last caller unless I pressed the corresponding button, and I say "displayed" because it broke after 6 months of use.
I have both models. They are budget phones but be careful because they come in 2 codes. The T58CE has a ringer with only one very low volume option or silent, while the T58 has a very loud ring for those with hearing problems. They do not require batteries for call identification, so that's something. The screen has large letters and the speaking handset is good. I have purchased it 3 times at intervals because they broke after the warranty, and because I can't find another one that is as loud in sound
It is intended for simple household use and of course not for professional use. It is recommended as a second device inside the house. For bachelors who simply have a package with internet, it is perfect.
Within a few months, it only worked with open listening and the headset lowered. Sometimes when you lift the headset, it gets stuck completely and doesn't work even with open listening. I would not buy it again.
Very good phone! It has enough weight to stay in place when you lift the receiver, its construction is of high quality, it doesn't need batteries, and it has the ability to store numbers and call history. I am very satisfied!
In 1.5 months, the headset broke and makes noise. Neither the cable nor the device is responsible, another headset was tested. The headset has some problem.
Makes click click click during the call. I called a technician thinking it was the line and I was shocked when the phone he connected to check the line sounded better than this one.
What I wanted was for it to have caller ID recognition and the ability to mute because this way you don't have to unplug the cable every time you don't want to be bothered by the ringing sound but at the same time you can see who called you afterwards.
The sound from the headset is good and others have told me that they can hear me well. You can adjust the volume from the headset, redial the last number by pressing a button, it has external listening but they told me that I sound deep even though I was right next to them. It has a button that mutes the microphone. When you mute the ringing sound, a small light turns on. The ringing sound has volume control. The cable that connects the device to the headset can be replaced in case of damage. The screen works without a battery and you can adjust the brightness. It has date and time that were set automatically both times I disconnected it. It times the duration of the call and also stores the numbers from the last calls. There is also the possibility to save some numbers in memory but I haven't used it at all. The buttons are large and make a small sound every time you press one of them.
(update 20/1/22 at the end of the text)
After 18 months of use, around 10 months or so, a sound started coming from the headset. Using the warranty, I sent it for service and they repaired it. From around 13-14 months onwards, it started having some issues with the buttons. Sometimes when I pressed a button to make a call, it would start dialing the last number I had called on its own. Sometimes the button would also get stuck. Of course, it didn't happen all the time. There were also some slight noises in the headset, probably due to wear and tear of the spiral cable. All of this with minimal and very careful use. Around 3-4 hours per month.
I sent it for service again and asked them if it was possible to send me a new identical model or a similar one given the current condition. They sent me a new one.
After all of this, I am changing the rating to 2 stars. Very good service from the service department, but here I am rating the device. I hope I covered everything.
We are talking about a landline phone that costs 18 euros. It is quite satisfactory in terms of its ringtone sound, but it has a disadvantage if you use it for work, as it is not very versatile because you cannot program different speed dials with which you can automatically connect to another phone line just by pressing a button. For home use, it is very exceptional.
