Since the RAM was installed, I've only experienced problems, primarily BSODs due to stopcode: memory_management or stopcode: memory_corrupt, or other reasons that were found to be related to the RAM after investigation. Of course, there were also issues like constant crashes of programs such as Discord, and even League of Legends crashed, throwing me to the reconnect page with the message: missing file. Repairing game... eta: 5 mins at least every 2 days, or even losing files from the cache. The RAM was not tampered with at all; it was installed with the timings specified in the manual without any overclocking, within less than 2 months of purchase. I even tried changing the SSD because I had it for a while and read that they don't have a long lifespan, and I had a problem with a crashed disk in the past, but nothing changed. Also, after changing the disk, I continue to have problems, such as the PC not updating.
GeForce Experience: I updated the nVidia drivers from GeForce Experience, they downloaded normally, but during installation, it showed some files probably missing or corrupted and a retry button.
Windows Updates: On the Windows Update page, it showed your device missing important security or quality fixes (in red), and there was 1 update which, like the nVidia one, downloaded normally, but during installation, it said Windows can't find important update files (files missing or corrupted) please retry later and a retry button.
Performance: As for the 16GB RAM I bought, you can feel the difference from 8GB (I mainly got them for an upgrade). The PC had much better performance and more stable FPS in games, but if you opened programs over 8GB, BSOD occurred obviously. Even though it couldn't run over 8GB, it had better performance because probably the system had more room to work. For me, all this wasn't worth it for a little more stability.
(This and all the above was written an hour after changing the old RAM and reinstalling the old 8GB back.)
Update 10/11/2024 22:56 (Today a few hours later): I applied for a return at the store for inspection and replacement or refund in case they are indeed faulty, so I removed the 16GB sticks and put back the old 8GB to keep the computer functioning. Four hours later, I have no problems with games or bluescreens like before, but I have a little less stability in games and lower limits obviously (the PC works like it used to).
Update 12/11/2024 01:34: The PC currently has an uptime of 30 hours and 54 minutes (to test if the RAM was the issue), and so far, not a single problem in games or program crashes, or even the PC itself (BSOD or sudden restart out of nowhere).
*And so many hours later, the Windows update showed me normally 3 updates, one of which was graphics, which were applied immediately, as well as the drivers update from GeForce Experience. After the restart, the PC is fine, and the "your device missing important security or quality fixes" message is gone from the Windows Update page, so it seems the RAM was indeed the issue. They are currently in transit to the store because I still want an upgrade in RAM for now... STAY AWAY FROM AEGIS.
Update 17/11/2024 01:34: I sent a return request to Skrootz for a defective product and they sent me a code to send it back for inspection and replacement. The store never contacted me, but fortunately, Skrootz is great at cutting out the middlemen and simply sent me another one. So I’m staying AWAY FROM AEGIS and I’m keeping AWAY FROM PRIVESHOP. The memories are actually good, even though they needed a bit of work, and the final rating since Skrootz has saved me before is:
