The design is awesome. It is small and functional. It makes minimal noise. I use not only Nespresso capsules but also Lor. I am very satisfied with the purchase!!! With Nespresso capsules, it makes the ultimate coffee, no kidding (I am also picky about coffee), but it is also very good with Lor! For the money I bought it for 73 euros plus 30 capsules as a gift, it is value for money. It is easy to clean. In the 1 year that I have it, I have almost done a descaling once so that it works perfectly, because we drink a lot of coffee as a family. So it's logical. Compared to my old Izzy Barista machine that left me after 4 years of use (it took ground espresso), it is clearly a very good choice! With the press of a button, you have your coffee ready, you don't have to deal with the correct grinding of the coffee or how much pressure to apply, it generally simplifies our daily life a lot. I definitely recommend it!!!!
AWAY!
I had this specific machine for two years and a few days. In these two years, I was quite satisfied with the quality of the coffee I was drinking, however, I would not trust a product that broke a few days after the warranty expired while following the recommended maintenance from the company.
A few days after the warranty ended (2 years), I performed the descaling process with the liquid from the Nespresso company itself (following their instructions on their website). The very next day when I tried to make coffee, the machine stopped "pulling" water and therefore making coffee, even though all the indicator lights were showing that they were functioning and the container was properly fitted.
I spoke on the phone with Nespresso and after trying all the possible solutions to the problem with customer service, they informed me that the problem might be solved by sending it to the corresponding technician at a cost of 69 euros! (at the time of writing this comment, the cheapest one offered by skroutz is 75 euros)
I consider it unacceptable for a device to break days after the warranty with such a prohibitive repair cost for the customer
Well-known product, I already had a larger one from the same company, I got this one for work because the size is very convenient
We bought it in January '21 for an office of 5-6 people and almost 4 years later and +30 colleagues, it ended up semi-professional and still works. Beast! We make around 25 capsules a day, we descale it whenever we remember, it uses whatever coffee brand everyone wants and it's still there: Rock solid! We just make sure the water tank doesn't run dry. If the base is removed, it fits a taller cup. Personally, since I make lattes in a large glass, I either place it slightly tilted from below or I froth the milk first, make the triple-capsule coffee in a cup and then pour it into the glass with the milk. I wrote this review as I am currently eyeing a machine for home use.
For its price, excellent, with the only downside being its small size that it doesn't fit a metal cup for frappé for freddo espresso under the spout.
It makes the same coffee as the slightly larger INSINIA, but it is very miniature, it only takes small cups on the base. For larger ones, you have to detach the base from the machine!
very very good. just what you need, you wake up and have coffee in a minute. while I generally find it hard to drink plain espresso, now with the little machine with the capsules that I have tried, I mostly drink them plain.
After a lot of searching, I ended up with this machine and generally chose a Nespresso machine due to the many options available in coffees and brands. The machine is very good and the coffee is quite decent; you find the brand you like and chase deals at the supermarket. On average, it takes about 30 minutes to get a capsule, and even if you waste two capsules to make a stronger coffee, it’s worth it since we’re talking about a cost of 60 cents per coffee. If you get takeout, it will cost you around 2 euros.
Small and compact. Doesn't take up much space. Quick heating of the water. The espresso has perfect crema and its taste is unmatched...
A good purchase!
Negative: Its price is indeed a bit high.
Positive: It makes your coffee very quickly with quite a good result.
Conclusion: It's just what you need to make your coffee in the morning before you leave for work!
SOS: Compatible with all the classic capsules on the market!
Small, stylish coffee maker! For the use I make, it is perfect! The noise is not significant. Recommended
Very good.. I didn't expect it.. I found capsules everywhere.. I keep trying new coffees.. I also got a frother and I have amazing cappuccino super easily.. I'm tired of spending 3 euros every day…
Fast, practical but I'm afraid it won't be very durable. The water container has very thin plastic and I'm afraid it will be the first to "say goodbye."
If you are looking to buy an espresso machine, get this one with your eyes closed. It takes up very little space and works perfectly with every capsule. You can find compatible capsules everywhere and at various prices. In terms of economy, I recommend the Lidl capsules, while for taste, I would say the Starbucks ones. I bought exactly the same one for my mother-in-law!
Very good purchase, perfect coffee, but it requires a little attention to how you place the capsules. I highly recommend it
The machine is small, doesn't take up space, and makes excellent coffee. I use mineral water instead of tap water to avoid immediate descaling issues with the machine. I wouldn't part with it for any reason. Especially since the company gives you back 100 euros credit for coffee orders when you register with Nespresso. That means a 10 euro discount for 10 orders. You should buy it with your eyes closed!
As a machine, it can make perfect coffee (it is at 19 bar)...the only thing left is the correct choice of capsule-coffee amount-water amount combination. With the 2 presets (espresso at 40ml and lungo at 110ml) you are all set. I tried it with freddo, which is the most demanding to get the right taste-intensity, capsules from many companies and beyond Lor, which gives a relatively good freddo, I concluded that the nespresso KAZZAAR (intensity 13/13) and NAPOLI (12/13) are the best. For freddo, it is essential to use two doses-capsules at 40ml. A little frothing with the mixer (not too much to avoid losing the aromas) and pour into a glass with 4 ice cubes. Also, make sure to use capsules suitable for the type of coffee you want, e.g., for lungo, espresso, ristretto, etc.
I hope it doesn't go jinxed that I gave it 5 stars... For its price (63€), it does what it's supposed to!
Decent machine for its value. The bin for used capsules fills up very quickly (with 5 capsules it needs to be emptied). It is quite noisy for a few seconds and its water tank is also very small. It empties with 4 espressos. Regarding the Nespresso club to get the free 60 capsules you are entitled to, I will mention: They only do not ask for a birth certificate... And all in originals. They would be funny if they weren't terrible scammers. It's like applying for a mortgage! They hassle people with inaccuracies and fine print. You can't get anything done over the phone or online. You have to go to their physical store yourself with all the originals (purchase receipt, warranty form, and having completed your online registration). Never buy Nespresso capsules. Do not encourage these behaviors. Besides, it's nothing special. There are excellent and cheaper coffees in the free market.
A very good choice that makes very good espresso with plenty of crema. It is ready to prepare coffee very quickly as it heats up rapidly. It makes very little noise. I have tried it with various coffee brands and have not seen any problems. An economical and quality solution.
Daily use with 2 capsules per day for 3 years (except July & August). Within the 3 years, water started leaking from the bottom and not going into the capsule. The device was thrown away, pure e-waste. While it lasted, it was good, but it's a shame for a device to only last 3 years, both for the environment and the consumer.
Nice coffee maker. It makes small and large coffees. And it is compatible with all capsules (all brands and all types of coffees.)
i've had great coffee so far using multiple brands of capsules. Emorying the tray/filling the water tank also takes 2-3 seconds so don't spend your money on more expensive capsule machines that make the exact same coffee (tested with a couple of friends)
Is just so small and easy to use! I like the red one because so stylish. Just a bit noisy but is normal. Good coffee … so I highly recommend
It makes excellent coffee, it is beautiful and small and mainly it does not make as much noise as the others. The only "negative" thing about it is that the capsule container does not hold more than 5-6..
It is my second coffee maker, the oldest one I had bought from another company I kept for 6 years, I decided to make a new purchase. I can say that it is very good, it has very good build quality, and it makes excellent coffee that you can enjoy at home and also offer to your guests. ☕️
Excellent. I have it for three years and it doesn't chew anything. With a regular cleaning and a little attention not to run out of water, it will last you for years.
It is really small and compact and doesn't take up much space. The quality of the coffee is satisfactory. The closing has some resistance (after placing the coffee) and needs to be pressed forcefully to close (don't worry, it won't break if you press it). Its disadvantage is that it doesn't have a separate button to close, but it requires an instant press of the coffee brewing buttons, resulting in many times it reactivates and instead of closing, it continues to run water/coffee until you press the button again to catch it better.
It makes a good coffee, heats up quickly, everything is fine until after a week the Lungo button produces less than the regular (38g for Lungo, 42g for regular). Hence the one star I gave.
Of course, you can press the button again to get more and press it again to stop. But that's not very nice. I also don't know if the problems will stop here.
In the two years (10 days out of warranty) it stopped brewing the capsules and was spitting out water from the top (obviously the pump started malfunctioning). Nespresso suggested a repair for 69 euros!! The audacity doesn't stop there, they wanted me to buy 30 capsules in order to give me a "discount" of 9 euros on the repair. Stay away.
