The Weber starter container has a diameter of 19 and a height of 30 centimeters, is made of aluminum steel, and features two handles.

The container is very good for starting a fire and for someone who doesn't know how to light it. It is worth its money and more. I highly recommend it! It also has the suitable interior to hold enough charcoal. A smaller one wouldn't work for me! Very good purchase!
The starter chimney is amazing. It doesn't get stressed at all and you have the coals ready for grilling in no time. I put half charcoal and half briquette, and the result is even better.
very good looks quality I will see it in practice
They told me. I couldn't believe my eyes. You light the coals with ease! I'm curious, of course, about its durability over time since it's not cheap.....
For those who say it takes 30 minutes to light the coals, I suggest they change brand. With Tigris BBQ, and the container full of cap, I've never taken more than 15-20 minutes. Your coals light slowly, it's not the container's fault.
Super! I wish I had known about its existence earlier. It lights up easily and in 15-20 minutes you have ready coals for grilling without wood for kindling, etc. You place a fire starter cube underneath, put the coals inside the container, and you're ready. It holds a sufficient amount of coal and lights them all evenly. Very clever design. It seems to be made from good quality material and is worth its price and then some. A VFM choice that makes your grilling life easier.
I have been using this product for years. I am fully satisfied, BUT it does not light up charcoal as some claim in 10 or 15 minutes. If you fill it up like I usually do, it takes about 30 minutes with charcoal and 35 to 40 minutes with briquettes. With a smaller quantity, you might achieve these times, but it may not be enough to cook what you need.
I bought a similar product from another company for my country house at half the cost. It does the exact same job. After years of having both, neither of them broke or rusted. In conclusion, if I were to buy again, I would choose the cheaper one since it achieves the same job with the same quality of materials, at least as far as I can tell.
As first time use, I can't say I was thrilled.
I was expecting something more based on the reviews I had read.
It took quite a while to ignite the charcoal, which may be due to the fact that at first I only put two fire starters and later on I added more.
Attention! Due to the airflow it creates, it throws a lot of sparks!
Very good construction worth its money .. to grill 4-5 steaks on a grill the quantity of charcoal it makes with just one time is enough
The perfect tool to never deal with lighting again! Compared to a fellow barbecue comrade, this one is much bigger! Highly recommended! The price is a bit steep compared to similar ones on the market.
There is no such thing to light charcoal. No more matches, no more lighters, no more anything.
You put charcoal, you put a starter underneath, wait 15-20 minutes and it's ready. The first time I lit it, I couldn't believe what happened.
Although I read the comments, I did not expect to have such good and immediate results. In the first 20 minutes, the briquettes were ready, as you can see in the video. I used simple commercial briquettes and kindling from a local store, also commercial. I simply lit the kindling and placed the container on top. We were saved and apologize to the vegans!!!!!
In 15-20 minutes you have charcoal burning without even bothering, you just set the timer, no blowing or stirring. With 3-4 turns you're good to go (not ashes) otherwise you can put newspaper inside in spiral form to go everywhere. Be careful when emptying because hot pieces may pop out. I used to complain because I pretended to be a grill master but it saved my hands...
Necessary accessory for charcoal lovers, those who are considering getting it yesterday, not today.
Awesome. First time I grilled so many times during summer vacation. And most importantly, UNBREAKABLE. Its capacity is good enough for grilling for 4 people. For more, you will need to do it twice, or leave the unburned charcoal underneath and cover it with the burning ones (on top). Very good construction. I did several grilling sessions and besides the color changing around (which is normal due to the heat), I didn't notice any other damage. The handle doesn't burn, it doesn't melt. Super.
The best purchase I have made, as far as my grill is concerned. I always had trouble lighting the fire to the point where I would struggle for an hour to get it started. Now I put a little paper underneath, charcoal on top, light it up, leave and come back after 10 minutes to find the charcoal ready! 1000 times better than the old starter fluid I had. Expensive, but worth its money.
I was impressed and it caused me a big problem... To light the charcoal with a simple motion
The best thing to light charcoal.
You fill it with charcoal, put in 2 Weber firelighters (or paper with oil, or other firelighters) and in a quarter of an hour you have fully ready charcoal without any effort.
Excellent product, worth every penny 100%.
It is quite large and can comfortably accommodate charcoal for a 6-person barbecue with briquettes. The two handles are extremely useful for emptying the container. The main handle is thermally insulated and one does not need to wear gloves as there is also a shield that prevents radiation from the container to the hand holding the handle.
Excellent construction, with satisfactory space for ash or (and) dry wood underneath.
Personally, I would recommend getting a cone-shaped hat (chimney) and placing it on top, as it definitely forces the air to move upwards, ensuring good and fast ignition.
However, even on its own, it does a tremendous job.
I highly recommend it. It is good to clean it like any barbecue equipment, as oxidation occurs and damage can be caused over time.
Bargain price but does the job exactly as promised.
You fill it with charcoal, put lighter fluid underneath, let it sit for about 20 minutes, empty it and start grilling.
I bought two to be sure about the quantity.
Overall, it seems to be well-made, time will tell how long it will last.
So far, it's worth it! Domesticated stuff..:pp
Really Perfect! We use it to light "conventional" charcoal (wild), which is ready in ~15min, with a fully loaded cylinder and without any effort, as you fill it very easily, light it from below and just wait. Amazing!!!
Very useful. I bought a second one. Better quality construction compared to similar lower-priced ones. The only negatives are that after 6 months of using it 2-3 times a week, the net that holds the charcoal came off and now I have it tied with wire, and the handle on the bottom has burned to some extent.
Very good!! I decided to try it and the choice justified me. I wanted it to use charcoal supplements when I grill for a long time and it needs a supplement, and in the end, I always use it.
The reviews speak for themselves. I have been using it for 10 years with both briquettes and charcoal that reach higher temperatures, I keep it outside all the time and it hasn't suffered anything. Neither the handle nor the plate. Unfortunately, the cheaper classic containers, in a few years, have melted and you throw them away to get another one.
Incredibly effective grilling method. I had read about it but had some doubts. However, I realized in practice how amazing and easy the "chimney" method is. Construction-wise, Weber is by far the best device of its kind, all the others in the Greek market are far inferior in terms of construction - and in the case of the "chimney" method, safety is clearly an issue. Very satisfied, I wouldn't buy any other.
I bought 1 Weber for 30€ and 1 Bormann for 14€. Both are of high quality. The Weber lit up the charcoal in 5 minutes, while the second one took 15 minutes. The Bormann has a mesh that keeps the charcoal fine, resulting in needing more effort to ignite it. The Weber proved to be a more well-designed product. As for all their products, they could be even better if they were a little cheaper
Tool of the few. You light charcoal in a minute. Its size is the best for grilling 4-6 people. It goes without saying that you can remove or add charcoal. It works perfectly with briquettes but you won't have any trouble with regular charcoal either (30-35 minutes and you're ready for the steaks).
Very useful, everyone who has a barbecue should have it. The only negative thing is that you can get the exact same one from Weber for 8€ abroad.
Excellent build quality, easy to use, and large capacity. I'm glad I didn't end up going for a cheaper brand and became a Skroutz!
