It does not retain heat, and that is exactly its positive aspect. It can cool its contents if you leave it in a stream for an hour or in the refrigerator or on the grills of an air conditioner like those in the library at the University for half an hour. Compared to a regular plastic bottle, it freezes much more easily, so a set of 2 is ideal for hot weather when you need 10 liters of water a day. Be careful with freezing, if it happens, it's better not to, but if you do, fill it up to 80% of its capacity, because water expands when it freezes, and aluminum, unlike plastic, does not stretch, it breaks.

Good construction, lightweight, and currently does not smell. The only negative is the mouthpiece, it is not convenient to drink directly. I had other bottles that were rounded and more pleasant on the lips.

It is aluminum, does not retain temperature, but:
3 years, it got hit, heated up, cooled down.. it doesn't show any signs.
It still closes securely, opens easily, is held comfortably by the lid, never leaks.
