Let's make it clear that it is not addressed to everyone. So, it is not possible to rate a product for a small group of people as a normal product.
Construction-wise, it is a bit disappointing at first glance, you expect for 70-80 euros that it will have slightly better plastics. However, it is not "fake", but it does not impress. Despite that, its plastics are quite heavy.
The keys have a nice feel and are very similar to the Ornata v2 that I have. Key 20 is not very convenient for space, but it is not impossible to reach. I have relatively large hands, but it still sits on the edge of my palm, so be aware of its size. The wrist rest adjusts in 4 positions, but unless you are gorillas, I don't think the two lower steps will be comfortable (unless you have some mobility issue, there it might be helpful, it was an attempt at humor).
The chroma is fine, and its application (Synapse v3) is fine as well, although it has some optimization issues.
The cable is huge and of good quality, fortunately, so it doesn't bother me.
The joysticks and other buttons are just OK, I suppose it is subjective whether you like them or not, but they are responsive and easy to press.
The packaging is typically fine, with the booklet, the tartarus, and stickers. For some reason, I expected something extra, but I don't know why. Very nice presentation.
Overall, I am satisfied, and it will show if the purchase was worth it in the long run. I plan to use it extensively for games and programs, where its shortcuts will be great.
I recommend it ONLY if you need it or if you have money to "throw away" and want to buy a Razer gadget. The biggest downside is its price, as with 30 euros more, you can get a whole keyboard. However, it is good that there are still such products that are not in the "meta" of the era.
I got it not for games but to work with Adobe Lightroom, a photo editing program for those who are not familiar with the subject. It does its job just fine. I would have liked the keys to be smoother and not make a clicking sound...
Edit: After an upgrade I did on my Mac, it no longer works and it is impossible to find a solution. Unfortunately, the company does not support its products.
I'm not particularly a fan of Razer, mostly because of the prices. They are for deep pockets, and I can't say that it's worth the money in terms of quality! So, I attempted to buy the Tartarus just because it's one of the few keypads on the market with an integrated joystick! Let's start with the positives.
1. Design-wise, it's very satisfying and the RGB LEDs are incredibly beautiful.
2. Ergonomically, I'm very satisfied and it's quite comfortable for the hand!
3. The cable length is long enough, around a meter.
4. The key functions are very flexible, you can customize them however you want, even combinations of keys, opening applications, macro keys, and whatever you like. Even the joystick can be changed to (wasd), so forget about xpadder and any additional extras!
Now, the negatives.
Come on, Razer...ALL the keys, even the joystick, remind me of the 80s joysticks where you would hear all those NOISY "clicks" while playing! The old-timers know what I mean! The keys don't feel AT ALL like conventional keyboards, and the joystick is also like a conventional silent joystick! For a big company like Razer, it's unacceptable to use cheap, outdated, noisy switches inside! It becomes annoying to play with all that noise from the clicks!
I got it in my hands yesterday afternoon. I would definitely give it 4 stars if it was my first keypad, but having played with the G13 for many years, I can't bring myself to do it. Maybe when I get used to it, I'll give it 4 stars, I don't know. So let's start with what I like and then with what I don't like. I should note that I tested it by playing FFXIV and Overwatch.
I like:
- The lights and their settings.
- The first three rows have 5 keys each and the fourth row has 4 keys.
- The "click-click" sound the keys make.
- The ability to set a key as Hypershift (I believe the button above the joystick will be great for this) and have +19 keys.
- The wrist rest.
- Razer Central.
I don't like:
- The Joystick. The one on the G13 was much better. This one is cumbersome. For example, if you want to go right or left, you have to first go diagonally forward right or diagonally forward left. Maybe over time I'll manage to go directly right or left, but so far I can't...
- The position of the Joystick.
- The 20 below the Joystick is nice as a Default Space for FPS games only if you set WASD to 13 17 18 19, Shift to 11, and CTRL to 16, but then you lose the F key and have to place it somewhere else because there's no other key next to 19.
- The scroll wheel. It could have been replaced with a key that could be called 21. If I find a practical use for it over time, I'll come back and write about it.
- I have big hands and I have to keep them fully open if I decide to put Q W E R T in the first row (01 02 03 04 05).
- It doesn't have a screen.
Regardless of whether I'm a Logitech fanboy, I wouldn't say that I wasted my money, but I have reservations about it because I've only had it for almost one day, so I still can't speak about durability and such.
However, I can definitely say that transitioning from a regular keyboard to a keypad was much easier with a G13. It felt like I had been playing with a keypad forever. With this one, after 10 minutes, I can't find anything better in terms of keybindings and hand position. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but if by then the G13 is re-released at a more reasonable price or if I find spare parts for the G13, I will definitely either repurchase the G13 (Are you listening, Logitech?) or try to fix my old G13.
In conclusion, all reviews are subjective, unless they are done by people who specialize in the subject, but even then they won't be 100% objective. What reviews can do is give a good idea about each evaluated product. I believe that if it's your first keypad, it's worth getting because, no matter what, a keypad and an MMO mouse are a tremendous QoL improvement. If you come from using a G13, you will definitely struggle and along the way, you may either love it or hate it.

The keyboard is good but I gave it 4 stars because it took me a while to get used to it and it was a bit difficult to get used to it
I have it for about 4 months. It neither impressed nor disappointed me. Good response, the feeling of the keys is subjective, personally it didn't impress me. It makes quite a noise like a mechanical one. I later bought a mechanical keyboard with red switches and there I understood what a nice key feel means... However, I have to say that it is much superior to regular keyboards, as well as the previous Tartarus that I owned in the past.
I had the Razer Nostromo for 7 years, very satisfied, and I decided to get the Tartarus V2.
In 3 months, the side navigation button breaks, the store's kids replace it immediately, and my new one breaks in the same spot within a month.
I decided to switch it with the supposedly better Razer Orbweaver, hoping for fewer problems.
This specific one is a big disappointment.
To say that the only very negative thing I found is that the joystick is difficult to use and the adjustment on the close scale is not enough for small hands. From medium and above
Take another one, this is not good at all for its price.
If you learn to play on Tartarus, you won't go back to the keyboard.
