I had to wash it several times and it has not lost any of the effectiveness of the waterproof coating at all.
I had previously bought a very expensive mattress from a well-known brand and I had the impression that for a sub-mattress of this type to be good, it should cost at least 60 euros for this size.
Meanwhile, this one is particularly well-made with embossed logos and great attention to the seams. If the brand name had the same quality of construction, they would price it at 100 euros.

I bought this mattress protector to protect my new mattress from sweat stains. It claims to be fluffy, which I wouldn't say it is. Also, it's not completely silent, although it doesn't seem to bother you when you lie down. As a downside, I consider the side "skirt" to be transparent and slippery when you try to put it on the mattress.
