In a 2008 Nissan Qashqai 1.6, the first time I used it and was going on a trip, I couldn't hear the engine at all during the drive. When I stopped, the tachometer was the only thing that revealed the engine was running. It definitely improved the already low fuel consumption a bit. The car had better response when pressing the pedal. However, the complete transformation occurred when I also added a LIQUI MOLY 3721 CERATEC to the engine (with an oil change), which leaves a ceramic material film in the engine and allows it to glide much more easily. It's a bit more expensive; I bought it for 22 euros, but it lasts for 50 thousand kilometers. I think that since I can't change cars every 5 years, it's the best I can do.
Well, at first glance, it is a good product. I put it in the tank and entered the Attiki Odos. It dropped the average consumption by 3 units, from 5.1 to 4, Renault Clio dci 2017. It gives a noticeable boost to the car, it drives better.
A good oil additive that keeps the injectors clean. The best part is that I emailed the company regarding the correct amount I should put in my tank, and they replied the next day with precision and responsibility. Kudos to the managers and their technicians.
In Renault Captur dci I have used many additives of the same philosophy. Having done less than 140,000 km, the car is meticulously maintained every 7500 km with an oil change and every 2000 km an additive is added to the tank. However, this additive is different from the others. Initially, the engine runs more quietly. It performs better with half a tank, whether it is below zero outside or scorching hot. Fuel consumption drops by about -1 liter (I compare it with trips because the car only does long trips and is not used in the city at all). It has better response to the gas. And with a visit to my mechanic, the dpf is in new condition. I wouldn't change it with any other and I have tried many from different companies. I recommend it!!!
In Giulietta 1.6 Jtdm 120hp, with a slight rattling noise and high revs in neutral, Liqui Moly worked wonders. With the first fill, and after 2 more fills, just a small bottle and the car calmed down and returned to normal. Of course, I will be using it frequently now. I believe the cost is minimal for what it offers.
I put it in a Toyota Yaris 2015.
After a few hours, I saw good performance in the engine and it plays a big role in what fuel someone uses.
I used it in the ratio indicated and the results were smoother engine operation, especially in low ambient temperatures and when it is cold.
Furthermore, I noticed that the engine no longer "smokes" from the exhaust during acceleration.
I will not include how good the product is.
I didn't see a real difference in fuel consumption, but I did see a difference in noise and flexibility!
So that's why I'm buying it for the 3rd time.
It was tested on a Megane 2, 2002, 1.5DCI, 82HP.
The product was used on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta jtdm-2 with 54000 km, which had a significant instability at idle from a cold start. The problem was resolved immediately. From now on, I will use it every third fill-up
I used it preventively without having any problem. The only visible result is a slight decrease in consumption. So I believe it did something. Time will tell if all these additives do what they promise! For now, I would say it is honest and does, as far as can be determined, the job it promises.
Guys, I don't know about all of you who say that you see various (noise reduction) during startup, I put it preventively and well after all these comments and I didn't notice any difference (yes, I did it preventively, I hadn't noticed anything in my car).
But the big problem I saw is that the car smells like diesel as if it's Euro 4 or as if I have done a DPF delete, while before all these years it had never smelled... I don't know what to say and what's happening, but we're talking about a bad smell and it's not just my idea, many people tell me that it smells.
So, use good quality fuel (which I always used and still use) and leave the additives.
P.S. The car passed the inspection during the time I used the additive and they didn't tell me anything or make any mention on the paper (but I didn't tell them anything about this smell issue either)
A bottle at 45 liters. Noticeable difference in engine noise, especially during cold start. Also visible difference in fuel consumption.
It was tested on 2 vehicles,
Volvo v40 D2 1.6Diesel (2015) with 120,000km
Smart diesel (2012) with 240,000km
In the Smart, a better idle was observed, smoother engine operation, and a decrease in fuel consumption (it dropped to 2 bars from full after about 600km), usually it dropped to 2 bars at 500-530km.
In the Volvo, I did not notice a difference in the engine sound but I saw a difference in fuel consumption. It dropped from 5.3 to 4.9 liters.
I should note that I only use EKO AVIO or Shell V-Power Diesel.
I had tried them in the past, they are worth using every 3-4 months
It seems to do what it promises. It has already been used 3 times in a Peugeot 208 model 2015 with a 1.4 HDi engine. The kilometers were made on a trip. The first time, the reduction of the engine's rattling was evident and it became quieter. On the third time, I also noticed reduced consumption in combination with passive regeneration that I did a few kilometers before (DPF at 166,000 km). Consumption dropped to 5.1 liters/100 km from 5.4 liters/100 km. Speeds ranged between 120-160 km/h with medium load in the car. I will continue to use it based on the manufacturer's instructions as well as upon the recommendation of my mechanic, with the justification that the diesel in Greece is of poor quality and contains a higher percentage of biofuel than the standards dictate.
I have used it on a Fiat Doblo 1.3 diesel multijet and on a Renault Kangoo 1.9. I noticed an improvement in the engine's performance from the very first use.
Use in vw polo I saw a lot of difference in consumption,
I used it on a trip I made.
And the engine was working smoother!!
Very good product
I will definitely use it again!
With the very first use, I noticed a significant difference in consumption! I didn't expect it! As for the rest of the promises it makes; it will show after some time. I recommend it and will continue to use it on a regular basis.
In a 2015 diesel vehicle with Euro 6 specifications, there didn't seem to be any noticeable difference in performance or fuel economy. Perhaps it is ultimately more important to pay attention to the quality of the fuel we use (especially in diesel) and maintain them properly.
With this particular product, I noticed a difference. I have a Golf GTD 2.0 and before, when I was driving in Attica, I was consuming 6 liters per 130 kilometers with the air-conditioning on. But when I started using this product, I saw a consumption of 4.9 liters per 100 kilometers, and sometimes 5.2 liters under the same speed, same road conditions. I highly recommend it. I will be using it every 2000 kilometers.
citroen berlingo 2003 230000 km One bottle in 60 liters and the vehicle came back to life again. Excellent product
In a Renault 1.5 dci with 190,000 km, it went 120 km more than the average on the first use. Specifically, from 850 km average, it went to 970 km on a 40-liter fill-up with regular AVIN diesel.
I used the entire bottle, the dosage of 1:300 is the minimum as stated on the company's website, where they specifically mentioned 250ml for up to 75 liters or best use from 7 gallons to 18 gallons. So, some comments here that share it are incorrect.
I only noticed a difference in fuel consumption, no difference in engine sound, etc., as you say mine continues to sound like an old tractor.
I have purchased this specific product, but it did not impress me. Although there was a response in terms of gas performance and satisfactory increase in horsepower, there was a significant increase in fuel consumption. This is despite the fact that the car is euro6 d compliant, and before using this specific product, the car had very low fuel consumption
Very good I would say. Smooth idle over time, nice start and reduced smoke in 1.3 Multijet Euro 4.
I'm not sure, but Liqui Moly's Common Rail is slightly better. If someone disagrees, they can leave a negative review in the comments.
I put the bottle in a 55-liter tank in a 1998 caddy.
The engine runs quieter and the fuel consumption was better than usual. I refilled again with 5 liters per 100 kilometers, but I was driving at a higher speed and had more weight in the car than usual these days.
I put 250ml in a 35-liter tank. After burning half of it, I noticed quieter operation and a slight decrease in fuel consumption. Smooth and quick cold starts that other users mention, I didn't have, so I can't judge how much it helps. Definitely, though, compared to WURTH, it's much better. I don't feel like I wasted my money. 4/5 until I burn another tank in case I see an even bigger difference, otherwise, I would give it 5/5 now
The difference is noticeable with the use of the product. As soon as I burned one tank along with the entire bottle of the product, in the next refill without it, there was better spark and lower noticeable consumption!!! I will definitely buy it again!!
Better engine start at low temperature as well as a small fuel economy. You will need two bottles to see results.
Well, as soon as I put it on, after 3 starts that "sucked it in" inside, I immediately saw various things in the cold start, unquestionably. Then, in the instantaneous consumption on the dashboard, I didn't see any particular difference, but to the product's credit, while I didn't notice any differences myself, I saw an average consumption of 6.5 from 8.5 after some time, which is very positive, and we're talking about Athens with traffic and a lot of stopping and starting, so overall very satisfied with this 15-year-old grande punto.
First time I purchased this specific product. For 4 years I was using the "Wurth Fuel Injection System Cleaner 300ml".. for all these years, with every oil filter change, I didn't notice anything suspicious, not even debris. Every 20,000 km it came out as I put it in. I simply use it once every 2 months just in case.. while using wurth, I also saw minimal difference in Gas and consumption.. With liqui, I noticed a bigger difference in idle, in cold weather, at -8 a few days ago, the car held idle at 1,000 rpm on the first start, I also noticed a difference in consumption, I would say to a much greater extent than wurth.. if anything changes, I will come back with an update.
It does what it promises, better engine performance, better cold start in winter, no noticeable difference in fuel consumption
