The Jameson family presents Jameson Caskmates and shares the unique story behind its creation, which harmoniously incorporates two quintessentially Irish traditions, whiskey and stout beer.
It is aged in barrels that previously held stout beer. The notes of coffee, cocoa, and caramel - characteristic of Jameson Irish Whiskey - are enriched with subtle notes of mild spices, crisp fruits, green tea, and hazelnut, contributing to the creation of an exceptionally smooth spirit.

At first, I tried it neat, as I always do with all whiskies, and it gave off aromas of honey, cinnamon, smoked wood, and vanilla. It has a good aftertaste, a balance of flavors, and is enjoyable to drink. Then I added a little water and it brought out all the aromas, which is what I wanted. I would place it between a blended whisky and a malt, better than a blended and lower than a good malt (not premium). It is an honest Irish whiskey that offers you the quality you ask for, always in relation to what you pay! In one word, I would describe it as sweet-smoky, good enjoyment, and always remember NOT to drink and drive, thank you.

Personally, it gave me a cocoa aftertaste. Very good product and if someone takes into account the generally low price, it is a must buy.

With the years, tastes change. After Dimple, Chivas (12-year-old and extra), Jack Daniels (regular, Gentleman, and single barrel), I tried the regular Jameson, Stout, and now Black Barrel. I prefer both Stout and Black Barrel either with a little cold water or with a small piece of ice, as it helps to enhance their aromas.

10. Jameson [50 ml]I have also tried the following other drinks so far: Fix, Mythos, and Corona Extra beers, as well as other brands. Gordon's Space, Smirnoff Ice, red wine from various producers. Plomari Ouzo and Mini Mytilene. Absolut and Stolichnaya vodka. Sierra white (silver) tequila. Olmeca Blanco & Olmeca Reposado tequilas. And 2 liqueurs: Olmeca Dark Chocolate & Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire. And of course, the unique and incomparable Metaxa 5 stars.
First of all, I clearly state that I do not like European whiskey.
After trying Jameson, I finally decided not to buy any Scottish or Irish whiskey again. I know very well that Jameson is considered an excellent drink. However, it failed to win me over.
I tried it very carefully, first neat and then diluted with Pepsi Cola.
It has a very mild taste and a floral aroma. However, let me tell you this: from the 50 ml bottle I bought for tasting, I drank about 1/3 and then stopped. Since then, I haven't touched it again.
Overall, I can't understand all the enthusiasm surrounding Scottish and Irish whiskies. They seem cold and overpriced to me [yes, I'm referring to the notorious Single Malts].
There are so many wonderful, sweet, and strong American whiskies available. Which I love very much. And at lower prices than any Scottish or Irish Single Malt.
In any case, if you like Scottish whiskey, Jameson will probably impress you. But if you are a fan of Bourbon, think carefully before spending your money on something that, in my opinion, is taste-neutral.
Furthermore, the bottle of Jameson is rather unattractive. I don't like its green color. I would prefer it to be transparent, so that the liquid and its color can be seen.
It is just another whiskey bottle that doesn't catch the consumer's eye.
In conclusion, as I mentioned before, Jameson is only for whiskey lovers originating from the British Isles. It is not a drink for everyone, just like American whiskies are clearly not for everyone.

From the best value for money. I tried it yesterday and I must admit that I didn't expect it to be so good for 30€. A very good whiskey. I would say it is above average in all aspects (aroma, taste, aftertaste). If I'm not mistaken, it reminds me a little of Jack Daniels gentleman. Its price is worth it.

I think it is the best thing available in a special edition. Similarly to others in its category (e.g. Chivas 12, Johnnie 12), it falls behind by a lot. I believe fans of Jameson have loved it. It's a dream to try the 18-year-old version, but I find it to be over 150 euros
