  The review concerns the eco-drive mechanism; the one shown in the photo I have had for 20 years, since 2005. After purchasing 2-3 other watches from more "famous" designers & brands in the meantime, this is the only one that has survived and is now worn daily for office work as well as manual labor, while at least one month every summer is spent on sandy beaches! It has never lost a second, its energy has only been depleted when left in complete darkness (inside a box) for at least a week. It has fallen at least twice from a height of 2 meters onto tiles but has only broken the crystal; the mechanism was unharmed, and generally, I did not believe that I would look for another watch until I saw the altichron...
