The anatomical sleeping pillow from Anatomic Help is soft with memory foam filling. A foam technology that molds according to the heat and pressure applied to it, embracing and supporting the neck. It is also infused with aloe vera extract, which provides the pillow with antimicrobial and hypoallergenic properties.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
The first time I tried this pillow, I was thrilled by the feeling that it followed the curve of my head. It had nothing to do with the latex I was sleeping on before (which really felt like rubber) nor with the down pillow I used to sleep on, which left my neck feeling like it was taking on a shape like a C in the middle of the night.
It may seem high to some who are used to lower pillows at first, but as time passes lying down, you feel that the pillow "drops" to a comfortable point that keeps you straight. Not too low and not too high. Personally, it also helped me with my breathing; with the lower pillows, I felt like I wasn't breathing properly while sleeping and that I would choke.
Of course, these are a matter of taste; when you're used to sleeping crooked, what feels normal might seem wrong to you. I have also gifted it to my loved ones, and many have told me that their necks feel better
I used it for 3 weeks hoping that it would soften somehow, but nothing. It's the worst. I got headaches because of my neck. I don't know if it's eco-friendly or healthy or hypoallergenic, all I know is that I lost my sleep. The pillow is like a rock. Yesterday, I decided to throw it in the storage and go get the most common, classic feather pillow so that I can finally manage to sleep.
While I had bought this pillow last year and it suited me relatively well, I bought it again this year and I have problems with my neck. I am completely disappointed.
The quality is very good, but it didn't suit me at all for sleeping! I still continue to use my old pillows together
If I initially decided to buy such a pillow, it was because my lower back had been hurting lately with the regular pillow. When I first slept on this one, I had an issue with the spine. However, I quickly realized that I was sleeping wrong (because that's what I was used to). Fortunately, my sister helped me (who has been sleeping on an orthopedic pillow herself for years, not in the shape of a pillow but more like a brick, and she sleeps just fine). She had been recommended an orthopedic pillow because she also had previous issues with her lower back and spine.
So, what she pointed out to me (my sister) is that when I lie down (I'm talking about lying on my back because that's how I sleep), I shouldn't just put my head on the pillow from the spine and up, but also let my shoulders rest on the pillow along with my head. My lower back never hurt again! I plan on buying two more for my elderly parents, but I will make sure to explain to them the proper way to sleep.
Therefore, I realized that with the way I described, resting my head with the spine and the spinal column on the pillow, they are in a very nice and harmonious straight line with minimal uniform curvature at the height of the spine and the upper part of the back!
Lastly, whether the pillow is soft, one can only tell when they lie down. In the sleeping position, I believe the straight line with the spinal column plays a primary role, and this pillow achieves that for me. Finally, it returns to its inflated state when you get up.
After 10 days of use, I can say that I prefer the pillows I used to use for so long. I bought this specific memory foam pillow along with another one that has good reviews here on Scroutz and indeed they were confirmed. However, I bought this particular pillow after the seller's urging. It is supposed to be for people taller than 1.80 meters. The pillow, unlike the other one that was purchased, is very hard, to the point where you feel like you're sleeping on a rock. It hardly compresses at all with the weight of the head, so it doesn't take any shape. Personally, it hasn't suited me in any sleeping position (on my back, stomach, or side). I haven't enjoyed a single day of sleep and I have even woken up many times with pain in my neck and spine. Note: I have never had such pain before
