  A very beautiful watch that can be worn both casually with the bracelet and as a dress watch with a blue or brown leather strap. The way the dial changes color from light to dark is impressive! The crown is large and feels very nice when winding or adjusting the time. The 4R35 movement is the standard for Seiko in this price range and maintains satisfactory accuracy. The mineral crystal is very beautiful when viewed from the side, as for scratches, I believe that the character of the watch does not foresee everyday use, so a sapphire is not necessary. The Cocktail Time series is rightfully one of Seiko's most popular series, I consider the blue moon and mockingbird to be the most impressive colors up close. I bought it for 345 Euros, a price at which I don't think one can easily find a watch with a more beautiful dial, and from a company with years of history in the watch industry!

  2-year update
  It is the watch that consistently receives the most compliments among my watch collection. I usually wear it with a brown shell cordovan strap (20mm width). The movement maintains an accuracy of -6 seconds per day, which is very acceptable. The mineral crystal, after two years, has minimal signs of wear and remains very impressive. Other Cocktail Time models have now been released in 38.5mm and 39.5mm for smaller wrists (Wrist circumference 16.5cm in the photos). It continues to be perhaps the best dress watch series from major companies under 500 euros. Excellent purchase.

  The metal bracelet is for replacement. Get it with leather and check out aftermarket metal ones for cocktail time. Otherwise, very beautiful.

  Very beautiful watch. Its dial is mesmerizing. In reality, it is darker than it appears in the photos. It can easily be combined with various clothing colors, it just needs a shirt. The crystal has a "bubble" shape and protrudes about 2mm from the case, which is charming. The watch appears thinner and smaller thanks to various design tricks used by Seiko. Unfortunately, it is not sapphire, so I would not recommend it for everyday use, although in my opinion, a watch offered with a bracelet by Seiko is intended for daily use, for example, you wear it in the morning at the office, in the afternoon at a café, and in the evening for cocktails!
  The mechanism is made in Japan, considered reliable, and has hacking and hand winding. It loses about 5 seconds per day for me. From me, 4 stars for the lack of sapphire at this price (€400).
  Try brown, blue, etc. straps, it becomes even more elegant.

  31/3/22 After almost 2 years, it remains stable in timekeeping, having acquired 2-3 small marks on the crystal.
