DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor.
Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.
For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose and is supported by the motherboard, the better, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size in relation to speed (MT/s).
The G.Skill Aegis provides a speed of 2400MT/s, with CL17 and 4 GB per memory module.
