The bookcase by Liberta is made of particle board, a derivative of wood made from small pieces of wood and sawdust. It has a melamine coating on the outside, which provides resistance to scratches, friction, and corrosive substances. It features shelves for organizing and storing books and other items.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
Cheap bookshelf, to have somewhere to organize your books. Obviously made of (sufficient but not very thick) particle board for this price. The top, bottom, and one middle shelf are screwed with wooden pegs, while the other three shelves are resting on metal pegs that go into the sides and function as bases. It has a back that is nailed all around and on the shelves.
In our case, there were completely missing holes on one side of the decorative wood that goes vertically into the floor, at the bottom. In the end, the solution I found was simply to nail it with two nails from the back (it has enough), since it just needed to sit in its place anyway. The wood of the back barely reached to be nailed a little on the top and bottom shelf. There was no problem with the middle and side shelves. It includes a corner for support on the wall, with a plug, a long screw for the plug, and a short one to screw into the bookshelf.
Despite the small problems, the final result is completely functional, with stable shelves and a back that doesn't sag wherever it's pressed, and especially for its price (about 40 euros including shipping), it's incredibly satisfactory.
