Dietary supplement with 5-HTP that supports positive mood and well-being.

Benefits

  •  5-HTP, the intermediate metabolite between the amino acid L-tryptophan and serotonin, is extracted from the seed of an African plant (Griffonia simplicifolia).
  • Supports a positive mood.

Recommended Dosage

  • 1 capsule daily, preferably on an empty stomach at bedtime.

    I had been buying Solgar's 5HTP for years, but I see that the price has gone up a lot, so I decided to look for another brand.. I got these which are quite cheaper and have +30 capsules inside, (referring to the 120, as I see now only the 60 are available), and they are just fine, I didn't notice any difference.. What I wrote about the others still holds true.. (if you want you can read my review there)
    UPDATE: I noticed that the smell of my urine and sweat became more intense, so I will change the brand again..

    It has been several weeks since I started taking 5-HTP and I have been positively surprised by the results! I take 1 tablet and after about an hour I feel relaxed and sleepy... ready for bed!! I should note that I wake up easily in the morning and feel quite refreshed! Very effective product!
