Best tool for elecricians. Just make sure you buy the right one if you are left or right handed. And dont pull the wires only strip them. Have it for a year now and works like new.
Very good initially. Small, convenient. Personally, for stripping nya, I prefer the cutter and not this one. I use it for scraping nym after cutting vertically at the desired point and then you place it on the side and split it lengthwise to remove the insulation. But you need to be careful how much you scrape because depending on the cable, it can catch copper.
A negative aspect is that after 2-3 months of scraping nym with the side, the plastic got worn out and thus the gap widened and it doesn't strip well and it also heats up. It was very good while it lasted, but it broke quickly. Another negative, perhaps insignificant, is that it sometimes unfastens on its own and opens, which is a problem when it's inside the belt, it gets stuck.
Very good and reliable. I bought it mainly for telephone cables utp, rj45, etc. It is not user-friendly for coaxial cables, multiple connectors, etc... because you have to search for which hole to put it in and it delays you.
Nice tool, it does what it says. The vertical stripping blade is on the side, so you can't strip a fixed cable, for example on a panel, from the beginning of the cable, so there is a delay in productive work. On the other hand, the good thing is that it has an extra UTP cable stripper, etc. The bending it does like a knee helps to apply more force.. okay.. It's a matter of choice.
Excellent product, it really solved my hands, it now strips cables like a game, it is particularly convenient and fits in your pocket. Essential for every amateur craftsman
very convenient when you want to clean the edges of cables, the blade of the vertical grooving tool is very ideal for utp but also for up to 3*2.5 that I tried today out of curiosity since I have another stripper for larger cables.
It is simply perfect as its name suggests. I highly recommend it to everyone. It strips cables up to 5X2.5 on one side and on the other side cat5e and cat6. It fits perfectly in my hand and does its job perfectly. It is worth its money.
I don't think there is a better wire stripper!
I effortlessly clean fire alarm cables. It works great on UTP, PET UTP, and RG cables. It's a very good tool that is worth its money! Although it's expensive... It's the best, it doesn't hurt anything!
Another tool that lives up to its name, Knipex! Very ergonomic, lightweight, and functional. It fits perfectly in the palm of your hand and does exactly what it says. The work is done just as it appears in the videos. Especially the stripping of NYM cables is very useful and fast. It hasn't made a single scratch on the copper, both on single-core and multi-core cables. A big advantage is the version for left-handed people. A tool that is worth its money, like everything Knipex. You will have it for a lifetime. I highly recommend it!
