It is a good supplement for recovery after a series of intense workouts. Now for people with more serious issues, I think a more professional use one would be needed
I really read very good reviews but I didn't expect it to be such a good device, this little magic machine, as others write, brought physiotherapy home. You can use it for muscle pain as I do and in program 13 or in the tense programs which are personalized, as long as you set the hertz and the pulse frequency correctly. For example, Low frequency (1-10 Hz): Used for chronic pain or muscle relaxation. High frequency (50-120 Hz or more): Effective for acute pain relief. So you can create your own program or otherwise use one of the programs that the device has inside. I haven't used it yet for muscle strengthening.
I bought the Beurer EM49 EMS and I consider it an excellent choice for physical therapy and relaxation at home. It is a multifunctional device that combines TENS functions (for pain relief), EMS (for muscle stimulation and strengthening), and relaxing massage, making it ideal for different needs. Its use is very simple, thanks to the large LCD screen and the user-friendly menu, while it offers a plethora of programs that can be customized according to my needs. I mainly use it for reducing pain in my lower back and muscles, and I have noticed a significant difference after just a few applications. Also, it is portable and lightweight, so I can easily use it on different parts of the body or even take it with me. The only observation is that the adhesive electrodes need care to keep them in good condition, but overall it is a reliable and economical tool for daily use. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to invest in a solution for pain and muscle strengthening!
It does exactly what it says in the best possible way. If you need such a machine, don't look at anything else, just get this. If you think it might not be powerful, I believe it can handle up to half of its intensity; at full power, you can't handle even one hit.
It relieves me for a few hours from the pain and muscle spasms caused by herniated discs. It does what it promises. It alleviates pain but does not cure. Keep in mind that generally, higher frequencies provide immediate relief, while lower (10-20hz) frequencies offer more long-term relief. Also, if you use it frequently, like I do, it would be good to play around with the frequencies because the body "gets used to" it and stops responding after a certain point. Look around, ask questions.
As for the electrodes, in my experience, the originals are in no way superior in quality to the much cheaper replacements available on the market, as they wear out just as quickly (they need replacement after about 25-30 uses). Do not wash them with water because they will wear out even faster. Just make sure the area is absolutely clean and of course, hair-free.
Otherwise, while the device seems cheap, it is extremely durable. It has fallen three times but continues to work as before.
In conclusion, it is worth the money and has nothing to envy from the much more expensive devices used by physiotherapists. You probably won't regret it.
I bought it because I suffer from tendonitis in my right shoulder, I am very satisfied, my mom used it and my husband who has issues with his back, it is good and I recommend it!
Very economical for the miracles it does. I have not enjoyed any other purchase so much. The pains in my legs immediately disappeared with physiotherapy, my body tightened and I toned up with the passive exercise program, as for the massage pure pleasure. My life changed, my self-confidence changed, it has a 3-year warranty, the batteries never run out and the maximum intensity you can put is so strong that it vibrates your whole body, as for the spare parts it is very easy to find ones that fit almost all. Don't even think about it, just get it
I am writing a review to point out that I bought it for around 37 euros... years ago... and now I see it for 55! What happened and why did it increase so much? Previously, I could find it for a maximum of 45-50.
I still use it, everything is fine. However, the price increase is condemnable.
I got it for back pain but it didn't work at all :/. At low power you can barely feel it and at high power the muscles have spasms, which makes it annoying. Also, the instructions are somewhat complicated and I get anxious every time if I'm placing the electrodes in the right position and distance, etc. The quality of the electrodes is quite poor, they need to be changed.
MIRACULOUS AND AMAZING PRODUCT!!! Multiple programs for strengthening, relaxation, and pain relief! It has multiple programs and in each program, it alternates the rhythm without tiring but instead reaching a point where you enjoy it!! I have used it on my abs for strengthening and it really tightens the muscles, massage where it truly relaxes, and finally for relieving neck pain which I have an issue with and it relieves me... It is definitely worth it and more! As for the patches, it is logical that after several uses they do not stick due to skin oiliness, so you simply get replacements of the same brand for 20 euros, 8 pieces! That simple
I do not want to say too many words BUT I have had a problem with herniated disc for 10 years and:
1) my TENS machine reduces the pain more than lonarid, voltaren, and movatec combined!!!
I did not know this, but the electricity from the TENS machine isolates the pain signal to the brain for about 24 hours.
2) the TENS machine not only reduces pain but also improves blood circulation in the area, and the flare-up of the herniated disc subsides in 10 days instead of 20.
3) the EMS strengthens the area, greatly reducing the likelihood of spinal compression and disc herniation.
It should be done after 15 days once the inflammation subsides.
As for those who talk about the cost of spare parts, whether they cost 6€, 18€, or 40€, I do not care... I have spent over 3000 on physiotherapy and I will not bother commenting on 40€ for spare parts. Obviously, those who discuss it do not have a serious pain problem.
I also heard about battery life. I just laugh. I went and bought 100 batteries instead of going for one visit to a neurosurgeon.
The only negative thing is that the massage function works wonderfully and my girlfriend keeps using it all the time.
I have been saved. That's it.
I didn't expect it, I thought it would do something but not perfectly... I was wrong... it does more than enough the job for which I bought it... flawless... good quality... easy handling 10/10
It gives you a massage/treatment/strengthening with electricity - something that sometimes is annoying when you increase the intensity and it's not pleasant at all to continue. If you do it gently, you don't feel anything. It definitely didn't help with the grip I have - I didn't see any difference.
I have been using this device for two years now!! It is simply perfect! I buy stickers from abroad! I do tens on my neck when it hurts and ems on the abdominal area to help with weight loss!! A little massage for relaxation now and then!!!
One of the best purchases I have made! I bought it for back pain and it really is the only thing that can relieve me. Excellent and with a variety of programs! The only negative is the high cost of electrode replacements which unfortunately do not last long. Using it twice a day every 2 weeks requires a change.
It works! It's like doing a form of physiotherapy at home!!! Just be careful with the electrodes because they are a bit sensitive. I have used other similar devices but I am impressed with this one!
Greek menu. Very easy to use, with explanatory images for all parts of the body, back, legs, etc... which are included in the booklet that accompanies the device, with a variety of programs that cover all the needs of TENS, EMS, MASSAGE. It has intensity levels. I usually choose the medium one and it does the job for me. Personally, I have two hollows, a mild case indeed, but they bother me sometimes. It has saved me, although normally it also requires some exercise. The combination of exercise and the machine is ideal so that you never hurt again.
I have it for 1 month and my mother uses it daily for at least two hours. It relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. It has enough power, that's true. For now, we are very satisfied.
What most people have said is true. Very powerful, very easy to use, the batteries last a long time. For this price, it is a one-way street, incredible value for money!
I have it for a month and I use it every day for over an hour for knee rehabilitation after surgery. It does the same job as what they put on me at the physiotherapy center. For good results, it is very important for the adhesive patches to be placed in the right position.
Excellent product. I was ready for physiotherapy, suffering from chronic spondylitis for years and the symptoms persisted for many months. I have started the tens program for 4 days now and the symptoms have been greatly reduced. I believe that after 3-4 days I will be completely healed! The menu is easy and the construction seems good. I highly recommend it!
The most value for money for home-portable use. It has a manual program that allows you to adjust the pulse and intensity of the tens. I have been very satisfied.
I recently underwent physiotherapy...... the machine truly has power in the tens and ems.. I didn't notice much difference from the clinic.. very good indeed.... it impressed me
