The HJC helmet bridges the gap between sport and touring riding with features that will excite both categories of riders. The RPHA 70 stands out for its lightweight shell, superior airflow management, and maximum possible protection, ideally combining the dynamics and extreme performance of a sport helmet with the efficiency and reliability of a touring helmet.
The shell is a hybrid of carbon fiber and carbon glass, providing the minimum possible weight and effective protection in case of impact. The inner lining is made from Multi Cool fabric, which has enhanced antibacterial action and repels moisture while drying very quickly. Additionally, it is removable and washable.
The RPHA 70 incorporates an advanced air flow management and circulation system, achieving ideal conditions inside during riding. This is aided by the dual front intake and rear exhaust.
The visor of the RPHA 70 protects against ultraviolet radiation by 99%. The helmet has received DOT and ECE certifications.

Lightweight, tight-fitting, and with very good sound insulation. The negative aspect is that it is sold as a helmet weighing 1350g while it is actually 1450g. I recommend taking an accurate measurement of the circumference because as a helmet, it is narrow
Very good and lightweight comfortable quiet in the city yes but the vent on top after about 80km/h makes a lot of noise inside the helmet from the air
The quality of construction is evident as soon as you hold the helmet in your hands. Excellent and well-crafted in the details. Quite lightweight. It does not have any strange pressure points that would give you a headache after a certain period of time. It has been tested on non-urban routes at speeds of around 100km and has moderate aerodynamic noise, even on a naked motorcycle that is supposed to feel the wind hitting you. The ventilation is impeccable. With the top vent open, you feel a pleasant coolness on your forehead. The chin curtain and the cheek pads isolate the ear perfectly in the neck area, and with a completely closed visor, you can barely hear the sound of the engine. It does not fog easily, even without a pinlock. The internal glasses, when lowered with the chin curtain and the visor closed, almost completely isolate the air. In essence, it is like having a second anti-fog visor. Now, if someone adds a mirrored visor, it is perfect. It is worth its money and more
A first look.
Purchased at a price of €310 on 6/6/2019 but was worn in November 2019, so the evaluation is based on the period since it was worn, as various factors are affected, such as ventilation, which is permanently closed in cold weather.
It fits very well on the head and although it is tight, you get used to it easily due to its light weight. In terms of noise, with everything closed, I can't even hear the sound of the engine. Good quality materials, except for the built-in sunglasses, which I consider fake due to the thin plastic (coming from a helmet of the same brand with 2 visors: clear and tinted).
The permanently closed type of chin curtain is a positive feature, and with a small extension, it doesn't let in cold air or excessive noise from the neck. As for the air vents, as mentioned before, I don't have an opinion yet because due to the cold and very low temperatures at this time, everything is closed.
I have a small issue with the visor, which gets foggy on the left side when I'm in motion, but this may be due to poor installation on my part, even though I have put it on 1-2 times, while with the previous helmet of the same brand as the first one, I didn't have any issues.
One more note regarding the visor. Even if I don't fasten it, a little cold air passes through, there is a bit of noise, and it fogs up more difficultly than when it is fastened.
Advice: Because I made a mistake with the previous helmet (both were matte black), when cleaning it, do not use glass cleaners (e.g. Ajax) or others. It damages the matte finish over time. Clean it more frequently with water or use specific cleaners.
