It has good clear sound. Flat. But good.
Now CD/radio/cassette is basically dead.
The CD is unbuffered, resulting in it freezing at the slightest (also it doesn't play gapless mixed CDs correctly for this exact reason - it stops for 2 seconds when changing tracks when it should play non-stop).
The radio is okay with very good sound, the tuner is digital (scans through stations) but generally does its job just fine, it has good reception.
The cassette is a painful story. Yes, it plays well but the cheap Tanashin replica mechanism ruins the experience (and the cassettes). The recording is somewhat okay but not for much (natural magnet head that makes noise and still wears down the cassettes slowly at an angle, nonexistent (at least on mine) auto recording control and generally below Dolby level recording quality at exit stage putting a lot of noise in the recording along with distortion if you’re recording from CD or radio and generally low level but usually audible recording with a lot of noise). Generally, recording on cassette requires a well-designed internal mechanism and this one doesn't have it (e.g., auto recording level). In general, they don't make good cassette players anymore (at reasonable prices), so if you want to listen to and record cassettes properly, get a used old one from a thrift store, for example.
(Or a TEAC W1200) (Or a We Are Rewind Portable Sound System with Cassette Player / Bluetooth in Black Color) (not sponsored)
Although it has very good sound, it doesn't have a headphone output (!!!1). That's a big negative.
Accessing the interior is difficult, but if you manage, you can add the headphone output that it lacks, and then connecting it to an amplifier or standalone speakers, you will find that it indeed has very good sound (and occasional spikes on the exitter when the cassette/CD/radio is opened and closed). The issue is that you shouldn't have to do something like this; it should have the necessary audio outputs on its own. And buffer on the CD and a better cassette mechanism with an electromagnetic erase head and settings for TYPE II&IV cassettes, even if they no longer exist. Oh, and since we're mentioning things here, either a fully analog tuner with a dial or a digital radio with DAB RDS and a nice illuminated LCD screen, oh, and a full autostop mechanism on the cassette (if it's going to chew them up, leave it, I can do that too). And RGB lighting everywhere. And even if it cost eight and a half euros more (Basically seven and a half. We won’t be left on the street). We have 2024, not 1990.
Anyway, I wouldn't recommend it unless your requirements are extremely low. For example, if you want something to play a cassette, this will play a cassette (and quite well, in fact). But it might also eat it (I'm not joking, it bites like a rabid dog). You weigh it out now and decide what you think is better. Anyway, before you turn it on for the first time, let it eat a banana first. Trust me on this.
Update: For 55 euros, it's just fine, e.g., for a modding project.
Also, the product specifications may change without notice according to the manual (whatever that means).
Finally, if it doesn’t want a banana, make it a spaghetti bolognese. (Or don’t put a cassette in it) (or ask it, I don’t know, if it wants a burger)
Well, 1) the speakers are very powerful. 2) it plays cassette tapes very well. 3) do not use the cassette player for more than 5 hours a day, otherwise the sound will start to become unclear. 4) it records quite well. 5) you can record from a mobile phone, a turntable, and record onto a cassette. 6) however, it can also record from a CD or the radio while simultaneously recording onto the cassette. 7) it is worth its money, it is very good and very beautiful. I hope I helped you

It has a very good radio and CD player; the cassette player makes a noise when playing the cassette.
