I have it for several years with minimal use.
In the 5 years, it might have cut 3 tons of olives from the beginning, but it would get clogged and it would take my soul to start. Last year, I took it to a mechanic who told me it needs a carburetor, did some adjustments, took 50 euros from me, and still the same issues. This year, I will throw it away, I'm not giving any more money
1. Particularly heavy.
2. It throws the chain when it heats up, even though I changed the blade to Oregon and made sure it had oil for lubrication and that the chain was always tensioned.
3. Many times it stalls when cutting at an angle, for example, tree trunks.
4. The price is excellent
Let's start with the negatives: 1) relatively heavy for prolonged use but it's understandable 2) it will need a blade change very soon because it heats up and throws off the chain, an Oregon one is pretty good 3) if it struggles for a long time, it may shut off 4) it would be more convenient to have a larger grip.... positives: 1) very good quality 2) easy start 3) good purchase price 4) low gasoline consumption
From the first day, it would stall and shut off during wood cutting. It would start normally, rev normally, and then shut off shortly after starting to cut.
I took it to the service center later (due to my own negligence), but it was still under warranty. They said it had a stuck piston. They insist that the fuel mixture is to blame and that it wasn't a manufacturing issue.
I use the same fuel mixture in other two-stroke tools that I have without any problems for years. I even have a McCulloch leaf blower.
Even if I pay for the repair (€80 with a 20% discount!!!), they don't provide a guarantee of good functionality.
I chose to throw it away and forget about McCulloch.
I have had it for a year and I am very satisfied. I have cut over 20 tons of olives and it hasn't given me any trouble, only the blade that I replaced in a very short period of time. The machine is very powerful and effective! I especially recommend it for those who want a machine for non-professional use and need it for cutting firewood or some logs.
I have it for about 2 years!
I can say that it has made me look good in everything I have cut so far.
The only flaw so far is the fake gasoline tube inside its tank, which easily gets cut if you leave the gasoline inside while not using it.
Other than that, two years with the same spark plug and it starts smoothly without giving you a hard time...
I have had it for 2 years, its weight is a downside, and if you don't follow the instructions to put it in front, it won't start. However, if you take care of it, it takes care of you too. Starting it is a breeze, you press the bubble 10 times, pull the cord twice, then close the air and it works like a charm! I have cut tons of wood, oils, and spark plugs, and always clean it after each use. Its strengths are the power and the availability of service, which you can find everywhere, both in physical stores and online
Excellent economy in use (gasoline), without vibrations, honest choice. Four Pakistanis tried to burn it and the tool survived. The only attention is that the oil container empties before the gasoline runs out and the chain dries out from oil. Honest tool. 5 stars and especially for its price.
The tool is simply unbeatable.
American made and your money is not wasted.
Combine it with an Oregon .325 chain and you will be amazed.
The most wasted money I have ever spent. After countless attempts to get it started, it started smoking and then eventually died. When I tried, after praying, to make it work, the chain came off even though I had set it correctly.
I gave it to a professional friend in this field, and he couldn't cut anything with it. It kept shutting off and despite his efforts for a long time, he couldn't get any work done.
My next move is to go to the store where I bought it and see what I can get with the warranty money.
Honestly, with my hand on my heart, get something else. It's a shame for the company that I thought was worth it.
The machine is value for money, it cuts large logs easily, it has hard plastic parts, it is easy to put the chain in front, it is quite safe because the chain automatically locks as soon as you release the throttle. Now, as for its reliability, since I haven't had it for a long time, it remains to be seen. It has service centers all over Greece. Its downside is that it is a bit heavy, I wouldn't recommend it to someone who wants it exclusively for pruning, it will be tiring. However, I use it everywhere, for pruning, cutting logs, everything, and it doesn't have any vibrations
The chainsaw is something else, incredible plastic quality, very easy start, worth more than its money, a powerful tool with U.S.A specifications, it is almost a professional tool.

Very good and user-friendly, compared to the smaller models of the same company.
