Excellent choice, and very practical the thermometer to know what temperature the water is. One perhaps negative is the lid that opens like a pot's lid but still not enough to give 4 stars, it's retro anyway. Regarding the issue of salts with the water filter, we have no problem at all.

update 29/1/2025 I remove one star despite its beautiful design, as with daily use after 1.5 years, the switch broke. I expected greater durability for its price.

We have had it for 5 months, it takes a lot of water, you need a second refill and then again. It has been very convenient for us, it is of good quality. It replaces a Siemens adequately

It is fast and relatively quiet when it works. I was impressed that it can work even without the lid. I would prefer a smaller lid that opens with a button without needing to remove it.

I bought it about 20 days ago and when I started using it, I realized that the device stops at 95 degrees and not at 100. It also has a strong plastic smell. The first few times I boiled water, not just the 2 times that the manufacturer justifies, the whole kitchen smelled like plastic, or should I say it stank. To cut the long story short, I went to the dealership myself where they indeed found that the thermostat was faulty and replaced the device. However, they didn't tell me why it smelled like plastic since they were giving me another device. When I received the other device, I realized that it has the same problems, so I took it back to the store again to see what they will decide. I have decided to ask for a refund and I recommend everyone to stay away from THIS product!!!
