Description
Poems by Pablo Neruda published in this book were found during the exhaustive recording of all existing manuscripts and typewritten documents of the poet, which began in 2011. They are written in notebooks, on the back page of a music program or on board, in the menu of the ship, even at heights of thousands of meters, destined for Rio de Janeiro. Twenty-one exceptional poems about love that have not been included in published works and are seeing the light for the first time, an excellent opportunity to enjoy Pablo Neruda, one of the greatest poets of all time, as we have never read him before.
These poems constitute the greatest discovery in Spanish literature in recent years. The immense importance of this unpublished work lies in the fact that they belong to a period that begins in the early 1950s and extends until shortly before the poet's death in 1973. They are, therefore, later than "Canto General" (1950) and were written during the maturity of Pablo Neruda. This edition, annotated by the director of the library and archive of the Pablo Neruda Foundation, Dario Oses, includes photographic reproduction of the originals of many poems.
