DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM memory technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and greater capacity than its predecessor.
Specifically, DDR4 offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.
For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger size we choose and supported by the motherboard, the better, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size in relation to speed (MT/s).
The G.Skill Trident Z RGB provides a speed of 3200MT/s, with CL16 and 8 GB per memory module.
