  I installed it a week ago on a DELL Inspiron 15-5567 with Ubuntu. It works perfectly without any problems.
  During installation, I recommend removing the stickers to fit properly into the slot. Also, the black pad needs to be removed to properly attach the disk. Finally, I used the screws on the side to secure the SSD.
  I removed the front of the DVD from the laptop and attached it to the caddy (the front comes off easily as long as you open the DVD drawer).
  In the end, it fits very nicely and with the front in place, nothing is visible.
  It has a fairly strong LED that lights up red and flashes red-blue when in use.
  Overall, I am satisfied as it does its job correctly and beautifully.

  The laptop immediately recognized the disc.
  The only drawback was that the black plastic frame did not fit on my computer.
  Similarly, when removing the black plastic frame from my laptop's CD unit, it did not fit well due to some additional notches it has.
  I do not regret the purchase despite all this.
