The previous vacuum cleaner I had (Izzy b 8085 8.4V) was a total disappointment and honestly, it couldn't even handle the smallest debris! So, after doing some research and considering my own experiences, I decided to buy a new one. I was looking for an 18V vacuum cleaner to ensure its power, but after reading reviews and considering other options, I realized that vacuum cleaners with built-in batteries are not worth it. In just two years, they lose their performance and replacing the battery costs as much as buying a whole new vacuum cleaner! That's why I ended up choosing the Einhell, mainly because of the positive reviews and also because I found a battery set (2.5Ah) with a charger for only 25 euros, which was cheaper compared to other options.
According to the manual, with the 2.5Ah battery, the vacuum cleaner has a power output of 750W. With the 4Ah battery, it reaches 900W. So, with the 2.5Ah battery, the vacuum cleaner is powerful. However, it's important to note that it's powerful for a vacuum cleaner, but obviously it can't be compared to an electric vacuum cleaner with similar wattage!
The extension tube is very convenient because you can clean larger surfaces without straining your back. Its length, including the extension tube, is approximately 95 centimeters. It has a couple of attachments and also comes with a wall mount. It has a sturdy construction and doesn't feel fragile or low-quality despite its price!
The battery lasts easily for 10 days with daily use (although its performance decreases as the charge level decreases, it's still powerful). I use it mainly to clean up the mess my little one makes, from crumbs to larger pieces, hair, and anything else! It even works exceptionally well on carpets!
Based on my experience with battery-powered tools, I believe the battery will easily last for 3-4 years. If the vacuum cleaner also holds up for that long, then we're talking about a top-quality product.
But here comes the removable battery into the conversation. Even if the vacuum cleaner breaks, you can buy a new one for 30 euros. If the battery fails, you can replace it for 15 euros. So, potentially, the future cost could be much lower compared to someone with a vacuum cleaner with a fixed battery.
I have been using it for a month now!
