Description

Anga network cable in white color. It is of the U/UTP type (also known as UTP), which consists of unshielded twisted pairs of cables. It is the most common type of network cable and its lack of shielding makes it suitable mainly for home use and short distances.

Category Cat.5e, the improved version of Cat.5, which is designed to reduce interference and support speeds up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet) at 100 MHz. There is no visual difference with Cat.5, but there is a substantial difference as it significantly reduces crosstalk between communication channels.

Due to its low cost, it is quite popular for the needs of wired networks, even for VDSL connections up to 200Mbps.

The internal cables of the 4 pairs in the Anga cable are very soft and not easily manageable, you will realize this as soon as you try to terminate it with an RJ45 connector. Additionally, the external white and unique cover of the cable (which is UTP, logical) is very delicate and of poor quality. I passed it through VIOKAR channels and it was not the best experience compared to other UTP Cat.5e cables that I have used. I will not buy it again personally, it is one of those cheap cables and I say this with experience in the field of Information Technology since 1993, it is not worth it and I regret it. If you attempt to strip it with a stripper, you have to be very careful because, as I mentioned before, its cover is so soft that even the internal pairs get damaged, even in the most delicate setting of the stripper. So, either use a small cutter or a small rotating manual stripper. Next time, I will go for a more quality brand and even if I have to pay double the price for 100 meters, I didn't need more meters and I went for this one without testing it again. Finally, I should mention that it has a bad "tendency" as a cable when unwound and passed through channels, it folds and breaks on its "body" with sudden pulling, creating inflexible twists and "knots". If you see the equivalent cable from Panduit in the same condition, it is not even comparable! Luckily, the Anga cable did not cost much and I don't regret it... I give it 1 star though because it still did the job. However, this cable was a nightmare for me... never again!

I finished a bagel from another brand (which was also much more expensive) and this one was higher quality in terms of the connections because the pairs inside are hard and easy to manage.
