    I connected 2 hard drives, one USB 3 and one USB 2. With power supply to both the hard drives and the hub. However, when I am not using the hard drives and they are simply powered on, they connect and disconnect whenever they want. When connected separately to a port on the PC, the hard drives work fine.

    The best Hub that exists at this price for the following reasons:
    1. It works either with its own power supply or through my laptop. Almost none of the others at this price have this capability.
    2. The USB connectors are of excellent quality and durability. There are no issues with poor contact.
    3. Very fast device recognition.

    I have nothing negative to say.

    In one word, it is recommended. Excellent purchase
