  It was purchased to connect to a 32" TV that does not have component or scart input. I will give it 2 stars because it worked very well for 2 days. On the third day, it displayed strong scanlines and the most unexpected... green color (!) in the display, menu, and games. Of course, the console was checked with another HDMI cable. With its own component cable, it works fine on an older TV that I have. The adapter will be returned to the store and if the next one does not have the same problem, I will change my evaluation. Otherwise, it worked immediately and the sound is excellent.

  I will say excellent, I have tried other adapters, especially the avitohdmi brand, which really distorts the colors as you use it. Apart from that, this adapter here doesn't even need an external power source, it's plug and play. The only downside is that the general menu of the Wii appears as if the brightness is at maximum, but beyond that, Wii and GameCube games are displayed perfectly. Like a CRT. And the price is very reasonable.

  I bought it too and I completely agree with the previous speaker who describes the image on the 55" 4K TV as disappointing. In fact, I would characterize it as completely disappointing, even compared to "light" graphics games on a simple console like Apple TV FHD or Android TV Box. Unfortunately, my TV does not have AVI or RCA input, so this adapter was my only option and, at least in terms of functionality, it does its job correctly.

  Average image quality with visible scan lines. It is supposed to enhance the resolution to Full HD, but anyone who has tried the component cable (green-red-blue) and is accustomed to the crystal-clear image of 1080p will be disappointed with this HDMI adapter. If your TV supports component input, it is preferable to purchase the relevant cable (component AV cable wii). If not and you are between low definition composite (yellow-red-white) and this HDMI converter, then it's okay to buy it and do your job. It provides separate audio output, but its use is optional as the sound also comes out through HDMI.
