"KLIK in Greek - Level B2" is fully compliant with the specifications for the Greek Language Proficiency Levels that have been officially mandated by state law since 2010 and is perfectly aligned with the scale proposed for all European languages by the Common European Framework of Reference of the Council of Europe. The new specifications are reflected in the volume Certification of Greek Language Proficiency: New detailed examination program drafted and published by the Center for the Greek Language (Thessaloniki 2013).

This new book in the "KLIK in Greek" series is aimed at teenagers and adults both within and outside Greece who aim either to develop their communicative ability in the Greek language or to participate in the Greek Language Proficiency Certification Exams at level B2 of the Center for the Greek Language.

Each unit examines a thematic area and all four communicative skills, while vocabulary and grammar are taught based on the texts of the book. At the end of each unit, there are songs related to the unit as well as the possibility for students to self-assess. At the end of the book, an authentic Greek language proficiency test for level B2 is provided.

"KLIK in Greek - Level B2" applies the principles of modern teaching and innovates by providing its users - in addition to two CDs with examination material, audio, and songs - access to the electronic "KLIK in Greek" within the KEG Portal. The book user can connect to the digital work environments of KEG and navigate through supplementary electronic teaching material. The manual also comes with printed answers to the exercises, and a corresponding Greek-English Glossary is being prepared.

With this project, KEG continues its substantial contribution to the teaching, learning, and assessment of Greek as a second/foreign language by offering a valuable and modern educational tool.
