The screw that tightens it is not stainless, resulting in it becoming unusable within 9 months; it doesn't even unscrew to change the screw. It's not meant to be permanently inside the boat

If the screw in the middle was stainless steel, it would be just fine

As a depth sounder, it is very good, but the cables, even though I cover them with their own cover and a bag, the sea has damaged them, resulting in no contact and the device not being powered. I had to buy a new power cable, and now I have the same problem with the sensor; it doesn't make contact. So, I have to come up with a workaround. The power supply and sensor cables are not meant to be left permanently inside the boat.
