Adco 07160 Graduated Compression Calf High Socks Compression Class 1 Black
at 2024-11-10Verified purchaseI don't have a comprehensive opinion because the store sent me size 2XL instead of XL and I realized it late. However, I can say that the material is very soft and the elastic doesn't roll. I take off one star because all the adco are very, very long and you have to "stretch" the excess when you put them on (these specific ones are less than the hip huggers, fortunately).

Varisan Fashion Graduated Compression Calf High Socks 18-21 mmHg Black
at 2024-11-10Verified purchaseNormally, I have to wear class 2, but the similar class 2 ones twist from the top and cut me indescribably after a few hours. I got class 1 in the same design to wear at least something until an alternative is found, and it's okay, I don't have the same problem.

I ended up buying it a second time because the first one was taken by a "friend." All good.

Effective yes, but I am looking for alternatives after the first 2 uses. It was purchased for POTS and while it did help with the heart rate and migraines, it is so rough that pulling it up caused wounds on both hands (see photo) where it touched. Also, it was not easy at all to apply to the groin. It always stayed a few centimeters lower no matter what I did. I am 1.68m and weigh 79 kg, for comparison.

I got it because the colors caught my eye and it is indeed quite pleasant both externally and internally. Upon opening it, I was happy that it doesn't have that overflow of pages filled with maps and phone codes that other planners have. However, I really miss a monthly spread every 4 weeks and a few note pages at the end. That's why I take away one star. Also, it is quite heavy for its size.

I was desperately looking for a comfortable and soft shoe, as my legs swell and hurt due to venous insufficiency. But usually, athletic shoes fit tightly, or the fabric ones don't have a comfortable insole. Well, I put these on today, wore them straight out of the store, and walked for 2 hours right out of the box, and they are a dream! I wear size 43, and the 43 fit me like a glove and was very soft, like a cloud. I would say go true to size, BUT... I ultimately got the 44 out of extra caution because I was afraid of swelling at the end of the day, and it’s not much bigger. My foot doesn’t "float" in them, and the laces keep it very secure. If you are between sizes, take the larger size; I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Varisan Fashion Graduated Compression Calf High Socks with Silicone Normal 23-32 mmHg Beige
at 2024-08-16I am satisfied with the quality of the material. They are indeed quite difficult to put on, despite the instructions included. However, they have an awful thick and rough seam at the toes that rubs against the toes on the sole and the height of the nails. I have sensitivity in my feet and cannot tolerate it. I didn't expect this, as the Lui from the same company do not have this issue. And of course, they cannot be returned once opened, so keep in mind that it has this characteristic. If it would bother you in regular nylon socks from the supermarket, the seam on these is 2 or 3 times thicker.
EDIT: I am coming back 2-3 washes later to say that these have NOT lost their shape after washing. While the Lui that I previously pampered have stretched out and are unwearable. I will get more of these here.

Varisan Lui Graduated Compression Calf High Socks 18 mmHg Chiaro
at 2024-08-16Very comfortable, and they are easy to put on once you understand the company's instructions! The first time I struggled, but since then I found my comfort! I got them for POTS although ideally I needed class 2, because they were the only ones with cotton in the summer. Their biggest advantage, in my opinion, is that they have a soft covered seam on the top of the foot, above the toes. So, if you have sensitivity in the sole and toes, there is no seam to press on and feel it!
EDIT: After 2-3 washes they have stretched so much in length that when I wear them, material gathers under the knee, twists several times, and cuts me indescribably after 2 hours at most. They are for throwing away. Fortunately, I had only bought "just" 2 pairs...
