It does not retain the memory from the previous opening but it works fine. I have had it for a while.
The initial connection is not good if you don't have the code for the air conditioner and you need to put it on automatic.

It does not save the settings in its memory when it is closed and when it is reopened, it only chooses its own settings.

Easy synchronization, whether you know the code or enter it automatically. It doesn't store the fan speed you selected in its memory, but it resets it to medium, but not a big deal. I have been using it for over a year on a Skytec air conditioner that has the same code as AUX. Clear display, you forget to change batteries. It's worth buying.

Very easy to sync with the a/c. I did it automatically and it works perfectly. It's worth its money.
