This adapter allows you to connect devices that use a 3.5 mm audio plug to your Lightning devices. It works with all devices that have a Lightning connector and supports iOS 10 or later, including iPod touch, iPad, and iPhone.
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
It works perfectly for me on both iPhone and iPad. I think the problem might be with some companies that don't bring original Apple products but imitations.
So I recommend it without hesitation, but be careful where you buy it from.
Note: When you connect it for the first time, it will ask you if it's an accessory or headphones. It's very important to press headphones to avoid any issues.
Some headphones simply go unrecognized, no matter how absurd it may sound. Also, the fact that it is no longer included in devices that cost thousands of euros is at least outrageous.
I threw my money down the drain. Only one of the two speakers of the headphones works, I tried it with two different headphones.
With the Pixel 6a, it didn't work well. The maximum volume was very low. The fact that it very often completely loses connection and breaks down after 2-3 months I consider almost unnecessary to mention... this is my experience with all similar products.
This is the 2nd adapter I have purchased (the 1st one lasted a year). It connected to my iPhone 11 and worked immediately. The problem is that due to continuous use, the cable constantly breaks/bends and eventually stops working. I have wrapped it several times with insulation tape to make it rigid, so it doesn't bend at all. I believe this way it will last longer... We shall see
It works, but I have experienced some interruptions. I only use it for gaming, so I'm not too concerned since I have wireless ones for day to day use.
It's simply too expensive for something that lasts only a few months. We've been using it for a few months just to listen to audio via the iPhone 11 with wired headphones. It's been working up until recently. I purchased a new set of wired earphones and only the right side works. The headphones work on other devices that have an AUX port, and this overpriced dongle from F-Apple simply degraded rather quickly. If it was for 1 euro, I would understand, but F-Apple would never be so generous to charged so little for such rubbish junk.
Really the worst. I haven't bought 1, I haven't bought 2, but 3 of them in less than 10 months, as they constantly break. Finally, the 3rd one broke after 3 months just like the other two. I don't use it heavily, I use it every morning when I go to school and I make sure not to throw the cable around. I either keep it in a safe place or inside the case so I don't lose it. Don't buy it, save your money and get wireless headphones. They do it on purpose so you buy the airpods.
From the few cheap products of Apple and for now it does what it promises!! Of course, it seems quite sensitive so treat it well!!!
It does what it says. So far, I haven't encountered any issues. I don't think further clarification is needed.
Very good adapter.
It connects immediately and recognizes my headphones.
The sound is not distorted.
It is worth buying if you want to listen to music on your mobile and use headphones with a jack plug.
It works flawlessly when I connect it with an Audio Jack cable to my car radio to listen to the music I have on my phone (iPhone 11). I have also tried it with wired headphones and noticed that it doesn't alter the sound at all.
This particular adapter, like Apple's wired headphones, has a thin cable, so it requires careful handling and storage to prevent damage.
I gave it 4/5 stars because I believe it could be cheaper or even included in the packages of more premium devices, if not all.
Because a comment mentions that it does not support a microphone, of course it does support.
If you handle it reasonably, nothing will happen. If you throw it in your bag, connected and tangled like a rope around your phone with the rest of your shopping, the little glass will break.
Attention, do not "damage" easily... very short cable, 9 centimeters... attention... it works perfectly with iPhone 7 Plus and 7th generation iPad, without any interruptions in sound, used daily for 4 hours, at least 8 months... expensive for its price... Chinese... but it is correct so far... recommended if you need it...
update 21-02-23 = after 8 months of daily use for 6 hours, it still works continuously, like new... I will see, in the long run, at least for 1 year...
It is amazing. Regarding the (small) size of the cable mentioned by another user, the size is exactly the same as that of Apple's wired headphones.
Without the option to use classic wired headphones on new iPhones (I used it for an iPhone SE 2020), this accessory is undoubtedly necessary and hassle-free. I highly recommend it because it has a very good fit, without any decrease in call or music sound quality, gaming, etc.
This particular DAC is very good, especially for its price. It can comfortably drive headphones up to 32 ohms and produces hi-fi CD quality (if you use a corresponding music streamer app). The only negative is the very thin cable that gives you the impression that it will break at any moment.
Beware of imitations!
I have an iPhone 7 Plus and it barely works with the mobile. It produces a tragic background noise which, although it doesn't bother during music playback, is annoying during video playback.
It's garbage, guys. I bought it. There was a weird electronic sound and I couldn't talk on the phone... After two days, they stopped working
It lasted me about a month in operation, without, of course, being able to hear me on calls. Only for music, which again, after a month, could not be heard from one earphone
Necessary accessory for iPhone 7 and later owners who want to use headphones. I used it on the iPhone 7 and now on the 11. After 3 years of heavy use, I bought a new one at a low price.
Unfortunately, it did not work on my daughter's iPhone 8 Plus. When connected, it made a sound, recognized it as an Apple accessory, but there was no sound coming from the headphones. I bought it based on the good reviews, but it didn't do the job.....
Trying out my son's headphones, with lightning input, on an older iPhone that had both options, I found that it has a better quality and louder sound. So I proceeded to purchase the adapter and without any problems whatsoever, I am enjoying perfect sound!
