Because there are many things said in the reviews.
I have combination skin and I am 22 years old, and I have the following to say:
1) With a facial massage for 10-15 seconds, it absorbs perfectly fine. There is no issue with absorption, it requires a very small amount for me, like a pea for example, and it's perfectly fine. After all, it is moisturizing. I also noticed and understood with gel moisturizers and thin moisturizers that they require 2-3 layers for me to not "pull" the skin...
2) I have tried many moisturizers, including expensive ones like Clinique and pharmaceutical ones, etc. This specific one, with its ingredients, the amount it provides, the price, and its performance has left me fully satisfied, even more than La Roche-Posay which I would pay twice the price for.
3) Lastly, in my humble and certainly debatable opinion, it is good not to treat moisturizers as a miracle cream that will hydrate every dry spot, dry out every oily spot, and leave no cream sensation on the skin, especially when we are not using very expensive creams. As long as it doesn't cause irritation or breakouts, why would a slight shine bother me, which is already the nature of the skin and it needs it after a facial cleanser...?
Updated review on 9/10/2020:
If you apply a very small amount on damp hands, lightly rub your hands for a few seconds, and then apply it to the face, it absorbs very quickly.
A very mediocre moisturizer, I don't understand all the hype surrounding this particular product. It doesn't absorb well and leaves a greasy feeling on the skin. You feel it heavy, like wearing a mask. Several makeup artists recommend it as a primer, but I really don't understand the reason. Thank you, next.
This cream is a good choice to use in general, before makeup, and as a simple moisturizer. Personally, I wouldn't use it again as a day/night cream because I would prefer something more effective, but I like using it as a primer.
One of the best creams I have tried. It leaves the skin moisturized without causing greasiness, helps with texture and any marks you may have from acne. It makes the skin look more radiant. You will see a difference from the first uses. I recommend it 100%!
Since the day I got it, I haven't stopped using it! It hasn't been a long time, to be honest, I've been using it for about 3 days, but it's like an expensive moisturizer that smells vintage. I have tried it both as a hydrating mask and as a cream. Excellent so far and it hasn't caused any irritation. If you are on acne treatment or have dry skin, I believe it will cover you.
For me, even though I have oily skin, it sits fantastically. Because I use strong cleansing soaps for oily skin, it fits very well. I mainly apply it at night or after the beach for care. As for the quantity, everyone puts according to their skin's needs.
When you feel your skin dry, it helps to use it as a cleansing milk. It cleanses and moisturizes the face. It is good for before makeup, as a clean moisturizer cream I do not use it.
A very good moisturizer at a reasonable price. It absorbs easily, has a nice scent, and works well as a makeup base. I would like a slightly better packaging because it is quite runny (pump or jar), but this is not something that will prevent me from buying it again
I bought it because of the very positive reviews it enjoys worldwide. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I have combination to dry skin, but it doesn't absorb easily or fully on me, even after many hours I feel it heavy on my face and maybe that's why I can't perceive if it really retains moisture on my skin. However, I must emphasize that it didn't cause any problems with my makeup and now I use it as a makeup remover, when I don't have any other cleansing product with me...
Wonderful cream, versatile. I have combination skin and I mainly wear it at night, and it leaves the skin incredibly soft and refreshed. You can feel it as soon as you apply it for 2/3 minutes until it absorbs, but it doesn't bother me at all, especially during the winter months or after being in the sea during the summer when my skin feels dehydrated. Compared to many other pharmaceutical creams I have tried, it is much better. Good ingredients and it M O I S T U R I Z E S, which means it hydrates even after the first 5 minutes because with other creams, you apply them and after a while, the skin feels tight! I have bought it twice before and I will buy it again.
I have never had anything for my face, I have combination skin and I felt that it was weighing me down. It is very good for winter days, for the hands, the scent is grandma-like.
The cream is not suitable for combination - oily skin, it leaves greasiness and shine (personally, I also got extra pimples). Nice scent and economical packaging. It would definitely help dry skin!
Very good, affordable moisturizing cream, with a very nice texture and scent. Very generous size for its price and the feeling it leaves you in terms of quality/cost is VFM. I highly recommend it without hesitation!!
Personally, I have been using the cream for 2 years now, it is very good in combination with a cleanser that leaves your skin relatively dry. It comes in an economical packaging and with daily use, the 75 ml lasts for about 5 months. Of course, if one overdoes the amount of application, it will feel heavy. However, a small amount is enough!
I have heard good things about this product, but it is probably because I have combination/oily skin that my skin seemed more oily when I applied the moisturizer. Other than that, it has a nice texture and a nice scent.
I am 22 and I have very dry skin and I suffer incredibly from atopic dermatitis. I have been using this cream for 3 years now. I have tried everything because of the dermatitis, I have bought the most expensive pharmaceutical products and no one can compare to it... Can anyone understand how good it is when even in the summer, when it is room temperature and getting warmer, when you apply it even warm, it feels like it cools you down like water. It's amazing. Also, from costing around 20 euros from 17-18, now I can find it for 15
It is easily absorbed, helps under makeup to spread evenly without patches. However, if you have combination skin, it is not suitable for continuous use as it can cause oiliness. But if you have dry skin, it will definitely help. I prefer to use it half an hour to one hour before applying makeup, not before going to bed at night.
Perhaps the best moisturizer I have ever used. It has a rich texture, which is quickly absorbed. It leaves a velvety finish and does a great job as a makeup primer. The 75ml packaging is cost-effective and lasts a long time.
Very moisturizing cream, maybe not suitable for oily skin, unless you tend to be very hydrated. I am 23 and I have quite oily skin. I believe that the more hydrated I am, the less oiliness will be produced. After 1 and a half package and using it morning and night, I have to say that I see a difference in the oiliness of my skin. It has a heavy texture, yes, but after a few days of regular use, you get used to it. Now, if I don't apply it, I feel like my skin is pulling, even though I have oily skin. I will continue to use it.
Update: In the past few months, I developed acne and stopped the skincare routine that I had, which consisted of this cream and several other products. Since July, I have been using only this cream in the morning and evening after cleansing my face with La Roche-Posay's Effaclar. I don't know if the cream is responsible, but there has been significant progress since I started using only this cream. Therefore, I recommend it.
Very good moisturizer and worth it. I saw in a video of a makeup artist that I like recommending it, so I decided to try it. It has a strong jasmine scent and its texture is relatively thick. It instantly moisturizes and is perfect for those who wear daily makeup. I also use it as a primer, I just let it absorb for a bit first.
Very promising face moisturizer. It is not bad in any case. I am 24 and I have combination skin and I used it during a period when I felt that my skin needed hydration after using active ingredients, strong acids, and anti-aging ingredients. In terms of hydration, it is quite good. However, with the minimum amount, I don't feel the hydration that I should, no matter how long I massage. On the other hand, if I apply even a slightly larger amount, I get oiliness in areas where I have never had it before. Also, when my hair touches my face and I have recently applied the cream, it becomes oily along the length, even though I only have oily roots.
In general, it is commendable, it just didn't suit me very well.
It is recommended to be used as a moisturizing mask.
As a primer, which it is said to be able to be used as, I would not recommend it unless you have dry dehydrated or normal skin.
One of the best. I have combination skin. Before this, I used the day cream from lierac, which costs around 50+ euros. I have to say that embryolisse sits MUCH better on my skin, it doesn't irritate it at all. On the contrary, on days when I have a couple of pimples due to my cycle, this cream noticeably and immediately relieves them. I would not recommend it only for oily skin. For combination and dry faces, it is truly the best choice.
I don't feel it as moisturizing as oily. It doesn't spread easily and after applying it, my skin becomes shiny. I consider it more suitable as a cleansing milk rather than a moisturizing cream
After a lot of searching, I ended up with this specific moisturizer that I will simply say is top-notch in its category. It is lightweight with a very subtle and beautiful scent, absorbs very quickly, and leaves a wonderful sensation.
I have sensitive skin, so I was hesitant about using the cream, but in the end, I didn't regret buying it at all.
It is a multi-purpose cream: it can be used as a day cream (in combination with sunscreen as it does not have SPF), as a primer, as a makeup remover lotion, and as a mask. My two favorite uses were as a primer and as a mask.
Not only did it not cause any irritation, but it also left a very smooth feeling on the skin. The hydration it provides lasts a long time. For combination skin, it can be used only on dry areas. I don't know if it is suitable for oily skin. What impressed me the most was its application before makeup. No lines, no "breakage" of the foundation, even after hours!
I highly recommend it. Even if it doesn't work for you as a day cream, which is its main use, you will definitely find another alternative way to use it.
Pure disappointment!!! I can't understand why all the hype from the MUAs... First of all, it's not a cream, it's more like a moisturizing lotion, the consistency is watery, so it doesn't absorb easily at all (you have to rub it forever until it does)... Secondly, on my dry skin, it leaves more oiliness than hydration, I wonder how it's considered an ideal makeup base... I've been using it for about a month now, giving it a chance... Nothing, it doesn't help with dryness or pores. I bought it to try it out and regretted it... For me, Boskin by Boderm is way superior!!!
