We have been using it for 2 years on a female malinois. In the morning, we give her dry food and in the afternoon, cooked chicken. Everything is going smoothly.
I use it exclusively for a Newfie with a quite sensitive stomach as his only food daily since he stopped the puppy food - we tried almost all the other foods before we found this one, none suited him like this. Although he is fed exclusively with dry food, his coat is shiny and he is generally in excellent health!
Excellent food, my dog loves it and it definitely gives him all the energy he needs, as he is a Cretan tracker and is unstoppable. The only negative is that where we used to pay 44 euros for it (maybe even less), now the price exceeds 60 euros. I'm sure that most of us who started our dogs on this specific food have been disappointed with the price hike, and maybe the quality has also dropped, as people are looking to make money however they can.
Labrador, 8 years old, I have been giving this specific food for about 5 years and the dog is satisfied in every aspect. I have tried more expensive ones that were very good, but also others at this price range that had many problems. He loves this one and, as I said, I have no issues whatsoever. It was recommended to me by the veterinarian and also by people in my environment who were also very satisfied. The only negative thing is the price, it has increased by 15 euros in the past year, something needs to change in that.
A food that I have been feeding to my animals for at least ten years, who due to their work have increased calorie and overall nutritional needs... it is the second dry food in the Farmina category, which until last year was value for money due to its quality. Something has changed in its quality and with the price now at 60 euros... it should be noted that the food is now produced in Serbia for the past 5 years, which of course doesn't mean much, except that its price is not justified. However, overall it is a decent food, as I have conducted a chemical analysis in a laboratory and it contains exactly what it says on the packaging.
I have been giving it for 7 years without interruption!! My dogs shine and I have never had any issues with diarrhea, etc. I give it to Rottweilers and with 400gr per day, it's perfect (they consume a lot of energy in the countryside)!!
A very good food in every aspect, but at 44€ it started at 50+ and it will go up to 60, no...
I gave this to my mixed breed dog for two months... at the end of the second month, he got bored of it. I noticed that he was eating it in small portions and not with much appetite. Of course, there may be many factors at play. I changed it to try something else. Time will tell.
I have a 30-kilogram mixed breed dog and for the first time in her 10 years, she eats her food with so much pleasure!! I have tried many similar foods of the same category and had issues with all of them... so now it's only Farmina!!!!!
I have been giving this specific food to my dogs (Dogo Argentino and Rottweiler) for many years, but unfortunately, I have noticed that recently its composition has changed for the worse, while its price has increased by over 50% throughout the years (it used to cost 33 euros, now it's 50 with a worse composition). It's a shame to ruin one of the most value for money foods on the market!
I have Malinoua and I am satisfied with this food and my dog will fit accordingly with each food. It is of good quality
Very good price for the quantity. The texture and taste are on par with other more expensive foods we have tried before this one.
I have been giving it to my shepherd almost always until today, when he is 6 years old, and he likes it a lot, even my cats prefer it. His fur is shiny and his stools are solid. I don't have an opinion on hair loss as the dog lives outside in the yard, has a lot of fur with double coat, and needs frequent grooming anyway. For me, it is clearly value for money.
I have been giving this specific food to a Belgian Malinois and a mixed-breed Golden Retriever for two years now. They eat it with great appetite, have very good digestion, their stools are small and odorless (as much as stools can be odorless!), and their coat is very good. Not all foods suit all dogs, and I changed 5-6 foods before settling on Farmina. I hope the company continues with the same quality (and improved).
Excellent food !!! I have a German Shepherd, a Cane Corso, and a Cocker Spaniel, and they all eat this specific food without any problems whatsoever. They switched to this after Royal Canin and Acana.
This food is not worth even half of its price. I have a German Shepherd crossed with a Labrador and I gave him this specific food for a year. He had a lot of hair loss, frequent diarrhea, and occasional stomach problems. What bothered me the most is that this food was full of oil. It is of poor quality for its price... not even supermarket quality. I changed his food and everything improved!
Until a year ago, the food was very good. The kibbles were dark to black, while now they are light-colored and almost brown. I have noticed that the dog produces more feces. I have been feeding this food to a pointer and two setters for 3 years now and I was completely satisfied. Not anymore. It's a shame because it used to be a trustworthy food.
I give it to my four hunting dogs and they devour it. It's the second time I'm getting it. I have the habit of changing foods frequently, always premium ones. With this specific one, they have minimal and formed stools (as much as possible), and no diarrhea. The food is value for money. Although I don't consider foods that contain grains as serious foods, I would get this one again.
The Farmina team breeder and nd are not worth their money. Very expensive for nothing. Give bran instead
In the features, it looks good, so I will judge based on my experience with the product.
It is dripping with oil. The bag underneath is bathing in oil. No matter what bag you put it in, it leaks oil from the bottom. This might not be a problem, but in combination with the fact that the dog constantly has diarrhea (even if it eats a small amount) and never got used to it, it probably shows that it is... It's a shame because I thought I finally found a value for money food.
Not so good food, high in fat. I changed the food and my puppy is better.
The change happened very slowly, puppies are very sensitive.
They don't eat it.
I bought it after Acana and Naturea, because it was at a very good price and seemed like good food. The dogs, I must emphasize, are spoiled with food - But - they ate the two I mentioned relatively happily. They don't eat this one.
I left Royal Canin even though my dog loved it for years (I have also tried Purina but it's rubbish), and overall I was very satisfied with his physical condition. I had heard very good things about Farmina and took the risk of buying the large 20-kilogram package instead of the 15-kilogram one from Canin. After a year or more of use, I can assure you of its quality. My dog loves it, he is full of energy and healthy despite being 6 years old! It's also cheaper food and more kilograms. I am thrilled!
Seeing the ingredients, it appears to be much superior to the others at the same price and even more expensive and famous ones. I bought it for the second time, after using Nutram in between. The dog is shedding a lot of hair immediately after the change. Now I remember that the same thing, or even worse, happened two months ago, but I thought it was because of the heat and the beginning of summer. I think something is not right, maybe my dog is allergic and it's just a coincidence, I can't say for sure, but I'm going back to the familiar ones.
By far the best dry food ever!!! I have six extremely demanding Dobermans today out of the dozens I have had for years, and they always rejected any super premium expensive food I gave them. The amount of bags I have thrown away, the amount of money... From grain-free to barf!!! I finally found peace!!!!!! I even give my cats dog food and they love it! Openly and objectively, I vote Farmina as the best dry food on the market.
Very good value for money! The only food in its category that managed to help my dog gain weight. High percentage of protein and food for more energy in general. I highly recommend it.
I loved the dog food, as it is a tasty food for our friends with good absorption. I give it to hunting dogs that need great endurance and a lot of energy. Friends recommended it to me and I made the mistake of not trying it, now I'm trying to help you. If the food wasn't good, I wouldn't write a review, it's the first time I'm doing it.
Verified purchase from Pet shop Voula
Quite good food and at a reasonable price
From my personal experience and that of my friends, it is very good for shepards

Both of my dogs loved it from the first moment
