Technical details:
Specifications are collected from official manufacturer websites. Please verify the specifications before proceeding with your final purchase. If you notice any problem you can report it here.
I contacted them and they gave me advice but also the option to return it and have it checked for any defects (respect to their support). Below I will describe in detail the problem, generally a filament with increased difficulty in printing that may require raising the temperature up to 240 degrees to properly stick the layers and avoid gaps. When it printed correctly, the color and finish were very nice.
In the first print, the infill was misshapen and weak, but there was also poor layer adhesion (the print split in half as soon as I removed it from the bed). Then I increased the temperature to 220 degrees (maximum recommended) and increased the flow (extrusion multiplier) to 130%. The second print came out fine, but the same problems were observed in the third print. Then, in larger prints, I noticed that the problem would appear intermittently and then resolve itself. A characteristic example is the gray component in the photo (printed with the filament in question, but I used filler putty to fix the problem), where some good layers are printed and then some layers with gaps.
I tried several times to unclog the nozzle, but the problem did not go away. Finally, I used a White PRIMAVALUE filament in the printer and it printed fine.
*I noticed that this particular filament (PRIMASELECT PLA Matt) has a rough surface (before printing), while all the other PLA filaments I have used are smooth.
