The positive is that it is lightweight and small, so it is easy to carry. First, I want to say that I am neither a professional nor have I played in venues, nor am I a regular user at home... this is my first console with very basic knowledge in music, meaning I am just an average user. So, as a console for 99 euros that I bought, I believe it is worth it from a well-known company and I think one of the top in the field. I worked with it for only one hour and saw good features and good responsiveness. Okay, the buttons are not soft silicone and silent like the good consoles (you get what you pay for). It has quite a few capabilities; I worked a bit with its software, Serato Lite... however, I didn’t see anywhere about recording music (I might be wrong), but I like Virtual DJ, so I paid 50 dollars for recording, etc., and goodbye to the other programs. Now, whether it will hold up or not... we’ll see. After a few dozen hours of operation, I noticed that one channel's pitch control has lost sensitivity and behaves erratically with touch... but this happens when you try to adjust it. Fortunately, at least for me, I don’t mess with it too much, meaning I might adjust it 2-3 times during a recording... but I believe it shouldn’t have such issues so quickly!

Did you find this review helpful?I bought this particular mixer for 80€ in August '21, as a beginner in the field. Admittedly, for a simple home console, it's great value for money. The ports serve to connect it to a party and connect 2 speakers on top. However, obviously you can't connect more. Also, a big advantage is that you can take it wherever you want, due to its small size. It hasn't presented any technical issues so far, despite using it regularly.

Did you find this review helpful?SUMMARY: WORTH IT. HOWEVER, READ THE UPDATE I HAVE WRITTEN BELOW.
My first controller, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I've had it for a month and I really like it. The knobs and sliders have a good grip. The central crossfade is a bit "light" and sometimes I accidentally move it while playing with the other buttons. I've put some tape on it to keep it in place lol... and since I only mix with the volumes, I don't really need it (for now).
I use it with a MacBook Air M1 and Serato Lite. I think it's really good for its price and features. You can change the effects it has, so I feel like it doesn't limit you at all. The key is for you to be creative. Because it's not just about the kitchen, but also the chef ;-)
The jog wheel works as a CD and vinyl (you can even scratch), depending on how much force you apply, it's just what you need... (I heard that the older model couldn't do that).
I play alone at home to practice, but I've also played at house parties and it's just the right size. I usually connect it to a portable speaker.
I highly recommend it. We'll see how long it lasts... I hope for a long time because it really seems like a trustworthy choice.

UPDATE December 19, 2022 - 8 months later - the console's output only produces sound from the left channel. No matter what cable I use or what speaker I connect, only the left speaker is heard. I've checked the settings of Serato and tried it with Virtual DJ, but I don't see any change. Did the sound card get damaged?
So, I've had to set the output to come from the laptop's speakers and then connect my speakers to the laptop instead of directly to the console. However, this causes some ms delay between what I hear in the headphones and what comes out of the computer. Let's hope the headphones' output doesn't get affected because unfortunately, it will become useless then

The feel of the knobs is very good and the build quality is great! It's a great value for money purchase for amateur use, ideal for parties with friends and easy to transport, it probably fits in a backpack (at least it fits in mine) even with its box/packaging.
Edit: Virtual DJ is asking me to purchase a license after about 1 month of use, $49 to be able to use the drivers of this specific console forever.

I recommend it to people who play with Serato or Virtual, but for those who play with Traktor, be a little careful because the situation there is strange... it is also of better quality than the Hercules 200 and many others... compared to the Pioneer DDJ-200, I consider it better economically mainly, but also better in terms of usage because the DDJ-200 does not have a jack input or an RSA input... the Numark is a small console that fits in any bag, very lightweight, and I recommend it blindly for a beginner, I repeat, and mainly for home use...
