I don't trust it and I always have to take the pressure 2-3 times to get an average! I have hypertension and at some point it gave me 16 for the high one and 11 for the low one. Well, my children, this is not acceptable.

In order to know if it provides reliable measurements, one should compare it directly with another blood pressure monitor that is known to be reliable. And that's exactly what I did.

Initially, I used it as recommended by the manufacturer, bringing it to the level of my heart with a bent elbow. In this position, the values it provided were much lower than the correct ones. Around 10++ mmHg lower for both systolic and diastolic pressure!

After several attempts, I found that it works correctly when I hold the device in my hand, touching it on a table so that its height is a few centimeters lower than the height of my sternum. Then it gives more accurate measurements. But I imagine that it is not possible for most people to have a second blood pressure monitor and see exactly when it gives accurate measurements.

Of course, it is known that wrist blood pressure monitors are very sensitive regarding the precise position that the user holds it during measurement. However, this one doesn't even seem to have proper instructions for use. Now, if mine happened to be improperly calibrated or have some other defect, obviously I cannot know. Based on my own experience, though, I would not recommend it.

UPDATE:
In the end, I returned it. It is incredibly sensitive to the position of the hand, so potentially dangerous to rely on.
