It may do the job and have a very good quantity of vitamin K2, but it contains maltodextrin. I can't understand why companies do this. I won't buy it again.

The quantity is 200 micrograms of vitamin K2 (contains menaquinone-7, which is a better form than K1), it is a sufficient amount to activate the proteins that depend on K2 in our body, to guide calcium where it needs to go (bones) and to remove it from places where it accumulates (arteries).

As for the MALTODEXTRIN included among the excipients, I fail to understand why so many users are falling from the clouds. Maltodextrin is essentially a low polymer of glucose (by definition 3 to 20 glucose molecules). Even compared to crystalline sugar, calculate half the harmful action, as it does not contain fructose (with the known effects of metabolic syndrome). Now the amount contained per tablet is so small that I really don't believe it has the slightest effect on blood sugar levels. A slice of toast has multiple times the amount contained in 1 tablet of this product. Let's not strain at gnats. After all, wouldn't it be better if it contained more titanium dioxide, talc, and lactose?
A clarification..
K2 does not help with the absorption of D. Some of you are confused.
D helps with the absorption of calcium, and because there is a lot of calcium in the blood, K2 helps to direct the calcium where it should go so that it does not accumulate around the arteries and create other problems. That is why it is recommended to take both of them together.

It has good content of vitamin K2 in the form of MK7 (instead of MK4), which due to its longer chain has greater fat solubility, meaning it is better absorbed and has a longer duration in our body (what we call half-life). Vitamin K is a fat-soluble vitamin, so it is recommended to take it with a meal (or some fatty food) for better absorption.
With 200mcg of K2, it is recommended as a supplement for those who use vitamin D in higher doses such as 4000 IU in order to avoid high concentrations of calcium in the blood.
