While it does an amazing job of straightening, it melts the plastic and the top part permanently comes off. I have bought 2 and have had the same issue with both. Regardless, the metal side has fallen on my face and burned me.

The Mira brushes are by far the best of the market. They straighten perfectly and shape the hair QUICKLY

I don't think it straightens very well. It just definitely burns the hair less as it doesn't reach high temperatures. Also, very lightweight.

Very good choice. I was glad that I finally found a brush with satisfactory bristle length. Soft bristles. Leaves the hair soft, doesn't pull or break it. It hasn't caused any issues for 2 years now. I will definitely buy the smaller size as well.
