The DGS-1210 series is the latest evolution of D-Link's Gigabit Smart Switches that incorporates D-Link Green 3.0 technology. The entire series complies with the IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet) standard.

They support IPv6 to ensure that your network will be secure whenever you decide to upgrade from IPv4 to IPv6.

The DGS-1210-28P features:

• 24 10/100/1000 Base-T PoE ports
• 4 Gigabit SFP ports

In addition to compatibility with the IEEE 802.3af standard (ports 1-24), the first 4 ports (1-4) are compatible with the new IEEE 802.3at standard (up to 30W per port).

It has 24 Ethernet ports with a speed of 1Gbps.

It features Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, which allows it to simultaneously transmit power and data through an Ethernet cable.

Before choosing a switch with PoE, you need to know how much power your devices draw. This particular model features PoE (802.3af) and PoE+ (802.3at), suitable for high power requirements of devices such as IP video phones, IP PTZ HD cameras, 802.11ac (WiFi 5) APs, small audio speakers.
