I was looking for a laptop stand that takes up little space and is lightweight so that I can easily carry it. This one has fully met that need, it is definitely worth it
Cools down the laptop on a hot room nicely. Also stands work greatly to keep laptop in place. Noise is bearable, but could've been much more silent, I have less noisy ones in this price range. Only missing feature is a switch. You need to unplug every time which is convenient on daily usage.
I have had the base since 2020 with a 15-inch laptop. The cooler works perfectly even if the laptop exceeds the edges because the base is made for a 15-inch. In the summer, I put my hands in front of the laptop to cool down!
It is an amazing value for money, it is worth its price. Keep in mind that its size is not for a 15-inch laptop but for a 14-inch. Quiet and reliable
I have had the stand for almost half a year. I have not encountered any issues with the cooling and overall fan operation. However, the cable that connects the stand to my computer frequently, almost every time, touches the fan (inside the stand) and makes a loud noise. I have to pull it and place it very specifically to avoid touching, which is sometimes difficult and not always successful on the first try. I imagine there is a risk of damaging the fan at some point or wearing out the cable. Even the process of removing the computer from the stand every time and flipping it upside down to fix it is tiresome. If I had known about this specific difficulty, I would have bought a more expensive but comfortable stand.
For the money, I believe it is what it should be (8€). It makes a bit of noise, but not because of the fan, due to mediocre construction quality. The only sure thing is that the 14-inch Dell Inspiron 3493 fits exactly front-back & left-right, so I can't imagine a way for a 15.6" laptop to fit. Also, due to its cylindrical shape, it is not stable without the legs - no problem if it's on a desk, but not so convenient for someone who rests the laptop on their lap.
Value for money, I would say, although it doesn't have extra USB ports, it manages to significantly reduce the laptop's temperature. My machine rarely gets hot, even when I have Photoshop/Lightroom/Final Cut Pro running. So, I couldn't expect miracles. The only negative thing I would find is a sound that the mesh makes occasionally due to the construction materials.
Good cooler for its price. I have had it for 4 years.
It makes a small noise when it's running, but it's not annoying.
It keeps the laptop at good temperatures even in the summer, up to 60 degrees. However, for gaming, it won't keep it cool and it can reach 80+ degrees.
It is advertised for laptops up to 15 inches. I have it for an HP Elitebook 8470p, which is 14 inches, and it fits perfectly on the sides.
Positives:
It has two small legs at the back that you can use to keep the base stable. If you close them, the laptop will wobble.
It has a special slot at the bottom for the USB/power cable of the base, so when you carry the base with you, the cable won't get damaged.
The base is easy to clean. It has some iron clasps underneath, which are the continuation of the metal grid and they attach to these edges. But be careful, they are not very durable and can break easily. When you remove the grid, you can unscrew the fan and clean it, it only has 3 screws.
A mediocre overall base. Its main problem is its poor quality. While it is stable, the mesh it has resonates strongly and causes annoying noise. The fan itself is not audible unless you are close to it, but personally, I am particularly bothered by the mechanical noise produced by the mesh, so I only connect it when I am not in the room where I have my laptop. It is very cheap and effective in the cooling it provides for its price, I don't deny that, but obviously, such a low price would have had an impact on its quality somewhere.
A very good laptop stand if we take into consideration its price, however the air it emits is not enough to make your laptop a refrigerator. After 1 year of use, I have to say that it is a budget solution since my laptop went from 72°C to 55°C - 63°C.
Stable, elegant, with good inclination. Quite silent. At least the sound that is heard is exclusively from the fan, because a model from another company that I had before was creaking. On the downside, it does not have a switch and does not have a USB port. I cannot evaluate the cooling yet, although I see a slight improvement with the help of related programs.
Average in everything, good build quality, but it doesn't blow much air. Especially for a 15.6-inch laptop, I expected it to be better. I also have the CoolerMaster NotePal U2 Plus, and they are not comparable... I think there is probably a better option for this price.
It is indeed very good and quiet. It is worth its money so far (I have had it for a month). The only negative thing is that it does not have anything on the base to hold the laptop steady, resulting in it slipping sometimes.
This base is perfect. It is the best base at the price of 10 euros. The fan is COMPLETELY silent. The construction is perfect. The air it emits can cool 2 laptops together
