I have had this particular product for at least 4-5 years. I have no complaints and it straightens my hair, lasting for at least 2-3 days without needing to straighten it again. You need to let it warm up for at least 5 minutes before using it on your hair. This is something you do with almost all devices of this type if you want to reach the maximum temperature and avoid fluctuations while straightening, which can cause uneven results. As for hair damage, I have nothing to say. Every device contributes at least a little to damaging the hair, but compared to other reviews I have seen after all these years, I have not experienced any major damage to my hair, only the usual slight damage from daily use, which can be expected at the ends and not to a drastic extent. I am considering changing the device due to external wear and tear (the color has faded in some areas after years of use and traveling), and I am thinking whether I should get the same one or something different for a change. However, it is definitely still among my options after all these years.
The straightener is quite good for its price, with nice results. Personally, I bought it for traveling since I wanted something more affordable. Because I read some strange comments below, I wanted to share my own opinion. If you plug it in and immediately start straightening your hair, it's normal not to get the desired result. Personally, I leave it in the socket for a maximum of 5 minutes to warm up and then straighten my hair. I pass it twice and my hair is straighter than straight. You have to be smart with a device, not because it didn't work for you once to throw it away and say it doesn't work. Despite all this, the straightener is flawless for its price!
