Initially, all the professionals who have the staff using these heavy sanders should consider using sandpaper with holes and connecting them to the vacuum system. Then perhaps you will get something more modern.
Unfortunately, I had to use this particular model as an employee in the furniture industry for 15 years. We changed it about 7 times by buying a new one. Unfortunately, the boss insisted on buying the same one again and again because this specific tool has the reputation of being a good tool. And I say unfortunately constantly because I had to use it and endure its significant functional flaws. Specifically: 1) Incredibly noisy... so much so that I had to plug my ears with papers that I always made sure to have in my pocket, otherwise I felt my eardrums rattling and my nerves becoming frayed. 2) Vibrations... my wrists were paralyzed from the shaking. 3) Tool stability... if you don't hold it carefully, it spins like a wild goat and with its metal sole it destroys everything underneath it. 4) etc. poor design details. 5) And I say unfortunately constantly because I only use BOSCH tools for my personal use. I have tried all the Trivias on the market, this is the second Rupes I have purchased. The first one I bought in 2006 and it still works perfectly. I have only had to change the brushes and the cable, nothing else. I bought this one as a spare to have, there is no better Trivia. You can easily work with one hand
