Unlike its predecessor, the maps are much larger and there are so many areas to explore and secrets to find. You can also spend much more time discovering and exploring tombs. There are better and more challenging puzzles in this title than the previous one, the combat has improved slightly, and it features a greater variety of weapons. If you enjoy action-adventure titles, then you really should try this game if you haven't already! Although it is not a modern game, it still has that freshness to this day.

As a game, it's nice, but I still can't understand how they managed to destroy an iconic character, making her cynical, boring, and uninteresting... They want us to feel sorry for Lara.   I have been playing Tomb Raider since the first game. In fact, I completed the first one, which was very difficult, without a strategy guide when it was released. (I'm not a hardcore gamer - it took me a long time).
  Of course, the games have nothing to do with each other anymore. The old areas were like mazes. Real tombs and you felt an incredible sense of loneliness exploring them. And when the music played after all that silence and isolation, it was the most incredible feeling.
  But now the title is more action-oriented. There is no extreme isolation. Lara is annoying and spoiled. The areas are simpler. The story is conventional and predictable. Almost indifferent. You hunt animals that often stumble over each other.
  I didn't like the game, neither in terms of atmosphere nor action, characters, or story. Even the various challenges didn't interest me. It seemed like they just had a checklist and ticked off things and filled the game with unnecessary clutter. From minimal situations and a true sense of survival to impressive inflated empty experiences. The previous game in the series was better. I haven't played Shadow, but all my enthusiasm was gone after this waste of time.

  I bought it for €5 from the ps store and I never regretted it! Nice graphics, very nice story, and plenty of side quests to keep the experience a little longer. The reboot of the series has left me very satisfied. By focusing on the stories and giving enough depth to the characters, this mixture that keeps you in the game comes out. Very good job!!!

  Very good, not as good as the first in the series though. 60fps in performance mode, 30fps in 4k even if we play on PS5. However, the difference in graphics is significant, the detail changes in front of us and we see the change when we want to change settings. It has a lot of exploration, tombs, and additional content that will keep you entertained for hours. Unfortunately, the NG+ is missing here too, which should have been included.

  Rise of the Tomb Raider is a pretty good game, it has good graphics, direction, and a good storyline. However, it's not like the old Tomb Raider games, where there were more and harder puzzles.   Nice game based on the storyline.
  If you have played the 2013 TR or the definitive edition and liked it, then you will also like this one. The story is a continuation of the first one and we see Lara returning from caves and mountains in intense snow and cold.
  The graphics are beautiful, even pushing the PS4 pro, and they will make you feel like hunters and dangerous while hunting animals and searching for supplies. The characters are almost invisible, only Lara's friend has stayed in my mind and the villain of the story. A Christian who uses religion to justify his inhumane actions. We're talking about the... It will make you want to finish him!

  If you like adventure and exploration style, the game is exactly that. It has the action where it should be and the enemies have left me indifferent. It is relatively easy even on the difficult level and the game does not punish you for your mistakes. For a survival game, I expected it to provoke more frustration for the times I lost, that's the purpose of a survival game. But after a lot of searching and having a lot of stuff on me, I felt invincible like Rambo.

  In multiplayer, I like that we are 2 Laras surviving together, it's fun and worth it to pass the time after the main game. But clearly, there shouldn't even be multiplayer because it's poor and you don't do anything else but play with another person on a specific map. The rest of the multiplayer is just scores and leaderboards to see who is the best. You don't play together and in the end, you just see how you did... Yes, so interesting that I really didn't bother to pursue it further. I did a couple of matches, earned some trophies, and stopped.

  The singleplayer is what is worth it and I easily give it an 8 out of 10. I highly recommend it!

  Rise of the Tomb Raider is a truly entertaining video game that doesn't let you get bored from the beginning to the moment you finish it, because there is plenty of action and the whole thing seems quite well-made, resulting in not feeling the desire to leave it halfway. The gameplay is solid, the graphics are beautiful, and the story is interesting. However, this doesn't mean that we are talking about a great game. One of its main problems is the new Lara Croft, who can't be compared to the old one, which is far superior and has a more interesting personality. Another issue is its durability over time, which, if compared to the long-lasting The Last Revelation, is quite short and lacks that special mystery that is hard to find in games of this kind. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean that Rise of the Tomb Raider is a bad or mediocre game, on the contrary, it is a good video game that someone should buy because its positive elements are definitely more than its negatives.

  A Tomb Raider as it should be. Fantastic story with Greece present, amazing graphics and sound.
