It is difficult to describe this printer in just a few lines. Firstly, it is aimed only at professionals (photos, posters, banners, etc.). The print quality is very good, especially if you use the appropriate photo paper, then you can achieve near-perfect prints. It has many capabilities (I chose it because it can print up to A2 size), but it also has many "wants".
Before you activate it for the first time, you should have a good UPS of around €100 or more to keep your mind at ease, but also because you should NEVER turn off this printer under ANY circumstances. Why? Upon the first activation, the printer will perform a 25-minute "setup" and the ink levels (it has 12 different inks with a cost of over €700) will drop below 50%! A large percentage of this quantity is inside the tubes and the print head, but some of it is collected in a "container" at the back of the printer (you should have an extra container because if it fills up, the printer won't print). This will happen every time you turn on the printer, so never turn it off. Additionally, you don't need to change all the inks at once, only the ones that run out. Another thing that requires attention is that if you don't print frequently, every 60 hours the printer will "clean" the print head for any clogged nozzles, which will again use a large amount of ink that will be discarded into the back container. You should print something every 48 hours (that's what I do) to avoid wasting the expensive inks it uses. Lastly, the printer weighs about 40 kg! It requires a sturdy desk and needs to be stable because when you print, the entire desk will shake. That's all for now. At some point, I will make a video for more details.
